“Very nice restaurant”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

This restaurant running by Giovanni Fontana and his family is one of the best in town Marsala.

We enjoyed the lovely dishes from the locals. The fish was perfect and the friendlyness was amazing!

We would love to come back here.

So for all the people who like to travel to Sicily, Marsala don't miss this place in town.

Furthermore I want to thank Giovanni and family for a great time and offcourse not to forget the cooks who did a wonderfull job.

Thanks again and see you hopefully soon...

Kind regards,

“Best Sicilian Restaurant in Town”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

If you are looking for authentic sicilian cuisine - this is definitely the best place to eat!

We tried the dish of the day - which was in our case paste with crab meat - and we were very satisfied. Also recommandable is the fresh fish and homemade paste ("pasta fresca").
Thank you very much for three wonderful diners in the evening!

“Accommodating, excellent food, slow service”
Reviewed June 16, 2012

The owner squeezed in a table just for us on a Saturday night, for which we are eternally greatful as otherwise it would have been a night of gelato and marsala wine back at the hotel room (which doesn't sound so bad, but not particularly healthy). We had perhaps the best tonno arrosto (roasted tuna) in Sicily that night, and some tasty (if interestingly presented - mini fish pie?!) starters. Service was slower than Christmas though - but both parties clocked this by the end of the night, and we had our bill rounded down.

“GREAT FOOD with GOOD PRICE!!!”
Reviewed May 10, 2012

I had the BEST home-made Pasta there!!! Was soooo good!!! Oh when you read the English translation "seafood soup" on the menu it was actually not the soup we normally have, it was a pot with sauce and LOTS of seafood...

“Friendly and authentic family restaurant”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

We happened to find this little gem by chance as we were walking towards the seaside (take a left from Via Roma).. Owner Giovanni who served us was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a very nice 'Orata' (Gilthead bream) between the two of us..It was fresh and cooked to perfection and filleted in front of us. Overall the best fish we had during our 3 day trip in the Trapani region!
We finished off with some nice Marsala with traditional biscuits and we left very satisfied. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again and it is a must if you're visiting Marsala!
