The hotel is great. It is easy to find and a short drive from Trapani Airport. There is a nice view of the bay and pool area.
The restaurent is fine, but a bit expensive compared to other local restaurents, and its a bit of a drive if you are eating in Marsala.
The owner and the entire staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their english is very good :)

I can only comment on the communications with this hotel. I booked it in May via Booking.com for a September 15th stopover and this was confirmed. The week before we were due to arrive the hotel cancelled the reservation due to 'overbooking' although I would expect that, as it took 4 months to work out, my reservation was possibly made first. Booking.com tried to telephone us at home but by this time we were already in Sicily. It was fortunate that we had taken the iPad and were in a hotel with WiFi access so were able to pick up the email also sent. We were offered an alternative, in the centre of Marsala, which was far from convenient, but left us little choice on a Saturday. We had originally booked Baglio Oneto because it was on the outskirts and our expected arrival was likely to coincide with the 'passagiata'. Even after accepting the alternative we were unable to obtain confirmation of the booking during the following week.
It took an hour negotiating the inevitable evening city traffic to the hotel, where we were told that the hotel was full, a reservation had not been made. I got the impression that this was not an uncommon experience for them. It took an hour before another reservation was made at a hotel some distance away, during which time I made it clear by telephone to the receptionist at Baglio Oneto that I was not impressed! The new hotel had no dining facilities and the restaurants were closing by this time. We had to wait again for the car to be returned from the hotel parking facility, repack it and then unload again before trying to find somewhere to eat. After a long day's drive from the other side of the island we were pretty exhausted but, sadly, we have had no communication of regret from the hotel in the 2 months since we returned. Happily we were better served by the third hotel and a restaurant they suggested, both of which will get a better review than this hotel!

The property was very nice and new looking and a very good price. Breakfast was very good as well. Our room was comfortable but we did have one issue with ants in our room. I realize this is a rural area but we have the same ants in our area at home and know if we spray semi-annually the outside of our home, they stay out. It wasn't bad enough to ask to be moved to another room since we were only staying the night but I did think about it. Other than that one issue, this hotel makes a very nice base for exploring Marsala (Florio winery tour is very good as well as the tour of the salt flats), Trapani and Erice. We did alert the front desk to our ant issue at check out. I hope they addressed the issue since, other than that, it was a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the ocean have a very nice view of the harbor and salt flats.

The Baglio Oneto wasn't a bad hotel at all, but the location left a bit to be desired.

First of all, the adress on the voucher (and the hotels.com website and everywhere else we searched) was wrong, so the GPS led us to the wrong hotel. After a lot of research, we got the right adress (which also proved to be wrong, but we saw the hotel entrance from there). Hazzle.

Secondly, the hotel is in no mans land in the suburbs of Marsala. You would be much better off in a hotel by the sea or a hotel closer to Marsala or Trapani. Even with the great seaview from the Baglio Oneto.

But the hotel was new and fresh, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. And the restaurant served wine from the hotel's own vineyard - which was great. The restaurant was good.

I would say this is a great hotel for a large group or for a conference, but to large and out of the way for a private stay.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with a view of the landscape, not just a balcony facing the vineyards. Also...

This was the first of our multi hotel stay and once we'd located where the hotel was (note during the daytime you can see it from the main road up on the hill side) it was worthwhile. The staff were very friendly and accomodating our minimal leve of spoken Italian. The superior room we'd booked was a garden side view and was very comfortable, clean and cool along with good blackout blinds, as this was the side that the sun rose in the morning! The restaurant on the opposide side of an external quadrangle / daytime chill area to reception, provided good sicilian cuisine. The main waiter was exceptional!! in helping our understanding of the local Sicilian wines, Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars. He alone made the three evening meals and breakfast very enjoyable!! Wifi is bar and reception area as well as in room (ours was on the ground floor). Pool area outside was secluded and overlooked thedistant Trapani Plain with the blue sea along with the Eagadi Islands (also worth a visit) in the distance.

All in all a very nice hotel. Would be perfect to have a wedding as they cater for large functions, either as a single or sole occupancy or even whilst non wedding guests are staying.

The hotel was lovely and very reasonably priced on the 'MightyDeals' offer we used. We had a standard room that was perfectly adequate, large enough and very clean. The staff were consistently polite and helpful and despite what others have said, the breakfast was fine given that this is Sicily and they don't do full English here. You have the choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, breads, croissants, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, tea, coffee and juice. The pool is OK - not massive but big enough but there is no spa, solarium etc should you want that. The only small grumbles were that the directions to find it are poor and that despite declaring itself disabled friendly, there are areas which are not accessable by wheelchair - including most of the rooms.
The only other comment is that there are far more beautiful parts of the island to visit than this area. The hotel is where it is, but having visited most of Sicily, we would strongly recommend the Eastern side of Sicily, rather than the area around Trapani/Marsala.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms benefit from both the view and a sunny aspect. But of course they are more expensive...

Our superior room was excellent, as were the outside areas of the resort. Staff were pleasant but dinner didn't really live up to expectations. Even with a satnav, finding it was a challenge but I think the resort is probably the best choice for the area, if a little isolated. Two nights was a good length of stay.
