“Great outdoor cafe and bar”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

We stayed in a villa only about a mile from here. On our first night, 7 of us ate a nice meal here. Had a variety of dishes, some nice enough house wine and a very reasonable price at the end. Because we were staying so close, several times we ended up here for a nightcap. It was a very pleasant place for a drink and a chat on a balmy evening. While the food was good, it's the location and outdoor bar with a view that make this a great place. Day or night time, but as others have said, especially good at sunset

“Very good in a great location!”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

This is a small outdoor restaurant located opposite to Mozia, a fascinating archeological site at the north west corner of Sicily. We particularly liked the excellent busiati mamma caura, with lobster and fish, highly recommended. if you come at sunset you will enjoy a spectacular view of mills and salt hills. I hope to come back.

“Eat here on the way back to Birgi airport”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst driving to Birgi for our flight home. What a wonderful last meal with super views towards windmills and salt flats ! Have jsut seen the review by ''mississippi queenb'' which tells you all you need to know. Three of us had the busiata pasta ( thick rope-like pasta) cooked in squid ink. We looked a bit messy afterwards, but it was delicious.

Such a pleasant way to finish the holiday

“Enjoyable!”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

This quirky little place is good! It looks out over the salt flats and the old windmill which is a lovely sight! We actually were seated inside an old boat that has been retrofitted to serve as a dining spot. The seafood was good and fresh, very local and authentic. This is NOT high cuisine. THey have a rather limited menu but I think it is determined by what is good and fresh that day! It is basic, SIcilian food in a fun and funky place that was filled with locals. The house white wine was light and refreshing. I got the fish pasta offering and my friends got the seafood couscous - both were delicious.
Don't be afraid to eat here - it looks a bit sketchy - but we enjoyed it immensely. It really added to the Sicilian experience.
