Me and my partner spent a week in at Hotel Alpino, and we had the most amazing week!.The hotel was amazing value for what you got!.Small tidy rooms, very close to the lake and the centre of town!.The hotel restaurant served the best food around!. The service was exceptional, the manager was more then helpful and always jolly!. The restaurants and bars in the area always had some kind of live music in the evenings, and was fun sitting by the lake sipping a cocktail listening to it all and taking in the amazing views of the lake and Monte Baldo.Swimming in the lake was also a highlight Very romantic place and cant wait to go back next year!

just arrived back from one weeks holiday there. Had the first nights sleep last night in the whole week.. Clean but basic.Breakfast and evening meal ok. Room very small. Shower very small. The heat was intense had only a fan. The area not suitable for elderly people who are bad with walking.. Cobble stones on all of the streets. Our tour company dropped us off at the top of the hill and we had to walk down with our luggage same coming back. All trips out .. had to get the bus at the top of the hill. The area more suited to young people who like to party until the early hours. Then the street carts starts at five. Very expensive too..Definity would not recommend this to any one.

Hi, my daugter and I stayed at the Alpino in Malcesine 22/8 - 28/8. We've had a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely, location excellent and hospitality second to none. As a single parent I felt very well cared for and thought the resort and surrounding ones safe as well as interesting and entertaining.

We had some excellent excursions with Italian Getaways and a wonderful guide called Sandra. She is from the region and knows all the interesting nooks and cranies of the region that make you feel you have truly explored it, which in one week is pretty good!

What a gem from the perfect location, clean oversized room ( by European standards) with ensuite, a genuine taste of Italy. Patrizia and Domenico ( a real ringer for Bruce Springsteen) are the owners giving 101% care and attention to their guests. Patrizia organized our onward rail journey to Venice and freely gave us all kinds of hints and tips from local bus services to an afternoon at the Public Beach ( a fantastic walk away on the Lake side shore) where we could rent a chaise lounge /umbrella at Pedros Snack Bar, complete with good inexepensive food, vino, and beer, complete with a view to die for of the Lake, mountains, and castle. Very close to the castle, harbour for the ferries, & exploring the many medievil nooks and crannies of Malcesine. An added bonus is their restaurant where their son Piero makes sure you get bet of service, quality Italian food and vino plus 10% discount for Hotel Guests. A 2 star hotel with 5 star service. Considering you are in the town centre, people and vehicle noise is a non-issue as the hotel is not located on the busy main road.

My family and I plus friends stayed at this hotel in early April for the purpose of a wedding at the castle. My 2 grandsons were with us, 5 months and 8 months. We had a fantastic time. This is a family run hotel and they couldn't have been more helpful. We really couldn't find fault at all.

We stayed here in September 2008 - it was a great little hotel in a very central location. We caught the Ryanair bus from Verona airport which dropped us off approx 100 meters from the hotel. Our room was quite small with a tiny balcony on the side of the building - unfortunately we were directly over the kitchens and so it was very noisey in the evenings until approx 1am and then it all started again with breakfast at about 6am! The owners were very friendly though and we ate in the restaurant downstairs twice during our stay and were always looked after (you a 10% discount if you stay there).

The weather wasnt great when we were there - it rained everyday (not all day though luckily!) and it was quite cool - you definitely needed a jumper. We visited the castle and Limone but spent the rest of the time people watching in the cafe's around the harbour.

I'd definitely go back to Malcesine and the Hotel Alpino - it was very good value for money (approx £45 per night for both of us).

My boyfriend and I stayed in Hotel Alpino for a week in September - it was fantastic. Rooms were basic but clean and had all you need for a trip. The staff were very friendly and the on site parking is a real bonus.

We ate regularly in the hotel restaurant, as did many of our friends who were all inclusive in another hotel! Competitive prices and with good food.

Location is great and the hotel has a really traditional and quaint feel to it. Would stay here again!!
