stayed here for Michelles wedding and thought the hotel was fantastic, would definitely recommend, Our balcony had a fantastic view of the castle, nice air con., good breakfast choice. Erikas mum was especially nice, a well run and spotlessly clean family run hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 18 has a good castle view from balcony

We stayed here for our wedding in June 2012 and could not fault a thing!

Erika was lovely and made us and our guests feel very special.

The rooms were spacious, impecably clean and very tastefully decorated. The continental breakfasts provided a very large choice and we very nicely laid out.

We would highyl recommend this hotel and will definately stay here again.

Room Tip: The bridal suite is lovely and not much more money

We recently stayed in this hotel for 1 week for our wedding in Malcesine and would highly recommend it to other travellers. It is a lovely family run hotel and Erika is such a lovely woman who takes great care of her guests along with her family and staff. The hotel and rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable and nice sized bathroom. We had air conditioning and a nice sized balcony overlooking the gardens. The dining area was lovely and there was a good selection of breakfast options available, along with home made cakes! For other wedding parties considering staying here, Erika immediately took my wedding dress from me and hung it up in her laundry area to decrease. Our room was even decorated with wedding petals etc on our return from our special day, a very nice touch! Erika is a lovely woman and it is a beautiful hotel with a great family feel to it. We will definitely be staying here on our return to Malcesine.

A friend and I stayed at Hotel Erika for a week in May to attend our friend's wedding, and we couldn't fault a thing with this hotel - it's just fantastic! Erika is such a wonderfully kind hostess and made us feel really at home during our stay.

The hotel is well located just a few minutes stroll from Malcesine town centre and the main road that runs around the Lake, but as it's set back from the road you wouldn't realise it's so close. The gardens are tranquil and it's well-protected from the road noise - you feel as if you're in the middle of a little Italian village!

We stayed in room number 8 which had everything we needed including a lovely large balcony (complete with the typical Italian geraniums!) overlooking the immaculately kept garden (which has sunloungers and chairs / tables), a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds, all kept spotlessly clean by a daily maid service.

Breakfast was, for me, the best I've ever had in a hotel - I'm not a cooked breakfast person and prefer something more continental, and Erika's attention to detail and variety of so many different cereals, fruits (both fresh and dried), yoghurts, cheeses, hams, pastries, breads and even panna cotta and chocolate mousse is something to admire and indulge in! According to my friend, the coffee was amazing, and he really liked the boiled egg you were immediately served with as soon as you took your seat. Gluten-intolerant diners are also extremely well catered for with an entire shelf of different breakfast goods! I especially liked the way the table covers were changed to a different colour / style every day - something unique and visually very pretty. There is well-stocked bar open from early til late if we fancied a late-night glass of Bardolino or (I think) small bites to eat - we were always far to full from eating out in Malcesine but several of our fellow guests were often found sat there.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and Erika couldn't have been a better host. I hope to visit again someday, but for now, thank you Erika from Nick of Lilliput and Annalaise!

We stayed here with all the family for my son's wedding and had a wonderful time. The hotel owner, Erika, is very obliging and kind. She bent over backwards to help us both before and during our stay for the wedding. The hotel is spotlessly clean and, provides a very good continental breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend not only for weddings in the town but also generally for a holiday- we definitely intend to come back!

Malcesine is a small medieval town on Lake Garda with fantastic restaurants, bars, walks and views; it also has an attractive harbour (with boats for hire and ferries) and a pretty castle. The Hotel Erika is a superb base to take in the atmosphere of the historic town. The hotel is on a quiet side-street but within very easy walking distance of the town centre, the harbour and the cable car. We stayed for 4 nights for my son’s wedding (held at the castle) and Erika, the hotel proprietor, looked after our party of 16 and a baby marvellously. The hotel accommodation was spotlessly clean and the garden and terrace provided a delightful retreat after a busy day. Our room had a picturesque view of the castle (see photo) and offered all that we needed. The breakfast was excellent and served by Erika herself. Erika was an outstanding and friendly host and provided everything we required, including taxi bookings from/to the airport. We will certainly be visiting her lovely hotel again.

Room Tip: Room 16 had a castle view
