Ok the food isn't the best italian food you'll ever eat, but it doesn't claim to be - it is fast and pretty tasty. Tony is such a sweet guy, very attentive, he really makes this place. We felt so welcome there (visited 3 times), relaxed and enjoyed the street/promenade ambience every time. We enjoyed chilling out after a busy day spent in Amalfi etc. Standout plates include huge salads and Parmigiana. But my favourite thing about Tonys is the range of drinks. He has all the nice gins...Tanquery, Bombay Sapphire...I think it's a perfect spot for a sundowner drink.
In response to the last review....if something isn't right with your dish - do what the Italians do and complain! Otherwise how will the kitchen know, plus what do you expect for around 5 euros a plate?!
