“Great setting, and food.”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

There are two restaurants here, so you must make sure you choose the right one. The upper level is the main restaurant which we visited. This is more up market than many of typical restaurants in the town, so expect to pay a bit more. The setting is really classy being set in an old sea fort. The views are over the sea and along the cost. The food is really good and presented very well. I had the sea food pasta which was fresh and filling. My wife had the sea bass, a little more cordon bleu than the other main restaurants we tried. Again happy to recommend.

“Beautiful setting”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We went to this place on our last evening in Maiori and we were not disappointed. The place is set on a rock jutting out into the sea and the views are spectacular. We were lucky to eat there when they had a wedding in one of the restaurants - the place has two restaurants and a pizzeria one on top of the other - and were treated to a fireworks display (I assume that the wedding included/was the reason for this show). The food and wine was very good too.

“Amazing Experience!!!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

On May 7th we had a fantastic lunch at Torre Normanna Restaurant in Minori. It is situated in an old tower jutting out from the coastline, into the sea. The “lunch” turned out to be a 3 hour, 7 course meal, recommended by the maître d’. The meal started with a delicious soup. We then had a wonderful sea bream fish fixed three ways; a sushimi, fish with homemade pasta and red sauce, and then a baked fish with vegetables dish. The meal was finished off with sorbet , then an ice cream, and finally a very nice limon cello. It is in a breathtaking location, perched out into the Sea of Capri. The service and the food were both exceptional, this meal was the highlight of our two week stay in Italy!

“Fabulous location”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

We enjoyed a lovely traditional meal at torre Norman from one of the set menus. The waiters were attentive but they didn't come across as being over friendly in fact a little stand offish at times. It was difficult to put this into words. The service was quite fast at first as if they were trying to rush us then it slowed so I would say it was a bit inconsistent really. The food was very well presented and very good. The ambience was very good candle lit with beautiful views. It was quite windy on this occasion and the staff had to put a shield over the open window it was quite cool so take a wrap or cardigan .
