Nice hotel with nice location Very good service, friendly staff. We were there only two nights, everything was ok. The spa with two saunas was nice. We had a room with balcony facing to the "city" and the lake.

Room Tip: To our surprise, quadruple room is same as triple room or double room. Just extra bed(s) added. There was wall-to-wall carpet in the room, that we did not like. There was no air conditioning in the room, that is a lack at least summer time.

This hotel has it’s positives and negatives. The hotel is very clean, well maintained even though the décor remain 90’s style, with flower walls, flower carpet etc.
The problem of this hotel is that they think they are running a club hotel , a wannabe 5 star hotel when they are not, and their client are older couples (+55) that probably come every year and find it very fancy and a little bit snobby staying here. As a young couple with small child found we not welcome here. The check in person was more interesting talking to his boss about some bank transfer that they had recently received for some big client than checking us in.
We stayed two nights, and after the first night the room was NOT cleaned when we came back at 17pm and the cleaning staff was already gone. I even had added on the door “please clean the room” but when we came back I just found it taken off the door and no service had ever passed in the room. The good thing about this hotel is they have turn down service in the afternoon so luckily for us the night service had to clean the room (at 19:30)
Indoor pool area was ok, during summer is way too warm down there, you can’t breath as there is no air in the room, it’s probably nicer in cold winter.
The restaurant at the hotel is maybe the biggest let down. Again we did not felt welcome here with all the regular guest with their fixed table, all dressed up like we were on some fancy restaurant, and the waiter and their staff obviously had more interest serving their regular guest than us, as we got rather bad service. The pasta was just expensive small portion and not good at all. The strange thing is that the same persons serve the dinner and breakfast the following morning and again asking the table next to us 2 times if they liked the breakfast, needed more coffee etc. they didn’t even care if we had not been served coffee yet! Don’t ask them for “caffé latte” as they give you American coffee and apart warm milk! That is not caffè latte in Italy. The breakfast buffet was though nice and a lot of options.
For sure I will look for another hotel if I stay in Madonna di Campiglio again, as the “town” is only one big hotel.

I’m glad to read that you enjoyed our rooms and found the reception staff “interesting”.
As is understandable from the pictures of the hotel that is possible to find on the internet and from all the reviews written by our guests, Spinale is a classic and elegant hotel with a warm and friendly spirit, and reading that you couldn’t understand our “soul” makes me feel pretty sorry.
Of course, nothing about your taste is in discussion, mostly because DE GUSTIBUS NON DISPUTANDUM EST: we have thousands of guests of all ages and of all kind every year (families, young and old couples, group of friends), and it is normal that sometimes one of them is not satisfied of what we have to offer.
Effectively, I have to beg for your pardon because of the room making mistake; when you walked in inside the hotel, without a reservation, there was a misunderstanding: we thought that you needed the room just for one night, so on the day we thought you were going to check-out we were waiting for you to leave the room before get it cleaned, and when we realized the mistake, our priority was to clean your room as soon as possible, as we did.
About the breakfast issue, I can assure you that we can provide you whatever you may need, and in case there is some kind incomprehension, it would be enogh to point it out in order to get everything straight.

I sincerely hope to have you and your family as our guests again because I would really like to change your mind about Spinale Hotel.

We spent only one night in this hotel and were pleasant surprised about the friendliness and courtesy of all the staff. A comprehensive breakfast was served, nothing was missed! We got real good value for the money.

Just come back from 4 days at Hotel Spinale. Now looking to book for next year. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff ( whether front desk, resturant or housekeeping). Food was great. the menu was really interesting and very tasty. They have a wellness diet for those who care AND they also catered for my son who has rather limited English tastes ("white pasta!"). The rooms were lovely. The location was brilliant ( 1 min walk to lift if that). Spa was great and the piano bar became a firm favourite! A very family friendly hotel. 100% recommended.

All the things others say are true.... Simply a great place and location, pleasant ambiance, with friendly and service-oriented staff, comfortable rooms (with view), good food (and not only the heavy winter stuff), nice bar (and the musician played happy birthday for me one evening on the piano :-)), great sauna, swimming pool with massage, and zen relaxation room. And the pillow menu in the room - I have traveled a lot but that....I had never seen before....:-)....Little suggestion: why not offering duvets as well? That would make the sleeping experience in winter time even more pleasant!
