The Spa, 17 m. long swimming pool and state of the art saunas and relaxing rooms make this hotel exceptional and that is what is most needed after a day in the mountains. Therefore the complete hotel. The design is very nice, food very good as well as hospitality of staff. Rooms in different colors, stylish paintings and decoration. Have not mentioned the ski-in and out, just next to Spinale. Strongly recommend to stay here and will do next time around.

Room tip: Ask for rooms facing downtown. And would ask for studio room. The standard room is a bit to small.

We stayed in this hotel a week during winter season and it turned out to be a great hotel. Directly on the ski slopes, equipped with every comfort and a beautiful wellness area with swimming pool and spa. Tasty food and a hearty breakfast. Definetly highly recommended in winter but also in summer time.

First of all this hotel is located in one of the best places in Madonna and for that reason I gave 4 points (of 5). Food was average. The ski room in a basement so you need to use stairs to go with your equipment (usually having ski boots on). The lift is there but impossible to use it quickly in ruch hours. Food is average. Hotel is nice and clean but the 'design' is predefined by the owners. I personnaly do not like this type of style mixture at one place ( in almost every corner).

I don't know who is the target customer for this hotel. It is perfectly located with exit from the ski room just 15 metres from the ski-lift but the hotel is not designed for skiing people, and especially NOT for the families.

Definitely the "Design hotel Oberosler" should be treated literally - the "design" is much more important than the "hotel" for the owners. The "design" means that it is littered by randomly chosen furniture which is chosen to be weird instead of functional and I do not really see any value in this eclectism except for the spa & swimming pool which are really nice and well designed.

Speaking about the pool: what suprised me, quite unusally for 21st century teorethically 4 star hotel - the bathing cups are absolutely required in all pools/jaccuzi etc. and kids/teenagers can access only the pool (absolutely forbidden to enter the rest of the spa area). If you don't have cap: you are less 5 EURO.

In the rooms you can expect even such weird things like the glass wall between bathroom (shower) and the room itself or 2 story apartament. But no place to hang your clothes to dry them after coming back from skiing.

The Staff is terrible especially for the kids. They seem to hate children. There are signs everywhere that children shouldn't do this and that, even travel unattended in the lifts.
A lot of weird furniture and other "design" stuff littering the hotel causes risk of breaking something by the kids when they play or even injury. And I heard the hotel owner literally shouting at the crying kids (yes - it was in the evening in witness of many suprised hotel guests).

The food is very average. The names of the dishes are poetry (2 lines of text each) but it is not easy to guess what will you get when you order them, and the Staff is unable to explain it in English either. The portions are small however you can take more startes from the buffet to fill up. You need a lot of time for the dinner. It usually took us between 19:30 and 21:30 because you have to wait a long time before each dish (so long that usually kids were leaving the restaurant after each dish and we called them on the phone when next dish arrived).

They try to charge you for everything. You pay separately for all drinks including water, parking is 15EUR/day etc. However I must admit that the prices are honest.

Ski room is too small and there is always a fight over a place to hang your boots. And with very long and narrow ski room it is jammed in the morning.

WiFi works ocasionally. The connection is probably too slow so you can connect only in the morning or late at night. Requires going through login page upon every connection. However I heard that some guests managed to watch a foodball game using that connection.

Room tip: Each room is completely different. Many of them are quite weird (for instance glass window from the room to the shower).
