We stay for a few weeks in San Terenzo every summer since 2005, and we really love the area, not too crowded with us foreigners yet. Dei Pescatore was recommended to us a few years ago as being the best restaurant in town and we go here every year since then. We simply love it!
You know that you have to save some space for the primi and secondo but they bring in a lot of different seafood antipasti, and they are all amost irresistible! Nevertheless, you will continue to eat, and the primi, always a delicious pasta, very tasty, as well as the secondo, the catch of the day, will bring you down. The sorbet for dessert is a relief but you still need the grappa afterwards to digest it all. As mentioned in previous reviews everything is included in the price of 37 Euro, they bring you (appropriate and good) wine as much as you need, as well as water, coffee and grappa/limoncello.
We have some non fish eaters in our group and they are happy as well, one of them can eat meat and the other, a true vegetarian, is happy with the cheese, omelette, vegetables and pasta they serve. It is advisable to mention these requirements while booking though.

This was the first restaurant I experienced in Liguria, and I had to return again when my mother-in-law visited in the spring to show her what a real Italian meal looks like. First off, there are no menus here and no choice of food. If you have special dietary needs, I am sure they would try to accommodate, however.

First you get house wine and water, and then the first course comes, which consists of mixes of different local fish delicacies. The chef is not afraid of sauces, but also does great typical local dishes. Everything was tasty, and I tried lots of things I never would have thought to order. Second comes a pasta, usually seafood as well. Also very good! Then you get a main course, also seafood. The first time I have to admit we didn't make it this far because we didn't pace ourselves. The last time we shared mixed fried and mixed grilled fish, very good! These are some of my favorite dishes in the area. Lastly comes a dessert, we had lemon sorbetto and it was a delicious ending to a great meal. Also coffee or tea if you are so inclined. Fantastic!

This is the restaurant we go to to impress visitors and to experience the fun of eating as the locals do, a large meal with many courses and local tastes. And none of the pressure of trying to figure out what to eat. Admittedly, none of the winter waiters seem to speak any English, and they are not always the most friendly, but they are prompt and courteous and take good care of you. You won't be disappointed. Just remember to pace yourself! It's not a race, and you don't want to miss out on any of the courses.

Local cuisine, the specialty is seafood and pasta. You get to choose what you will eat in a kind of "tavola calda". Dont miss the fried squid.

It was a prix-fixe seven-course (I think) menu. Fantastic selection, loads of food. Cash only.

I ate here on a friday night.
The restaurant gets very busy on a summer weekend, reservations are suggested.
The portions are large, and we asked for some left overs to be put in a bag, and the staff did so.

Overall a nice place to go if you are hungry, as the menu and price are fixed.
