Very good experience, with special main course: shrimps cooked under salt!
Simple and effective idea! Anyway everything was really good,

The restaurant was over half empty, and yet we needed reservations. We were seated outdoors in the beautiful garden and waited for over 40 minutes to receive the menus. We were clearly ignored by the waiters who served the tables on our right and left. Eventually, we were offered an English written menu, a real plus for at that point real hungry people, and a wonderful wine list.
The menu offered Lecce dishes and some unique specials. The waiter tried (very hard and numerous times) to push on us the fresh fish of the day that was boringly prepared but at gouging prices (over €30 per plate). This made us wonder whether the fish on the menu, at 1/3 (or less) of the cost, were spoiled ;>)

After this rocky start, the food was top shelf. We loved the ricotta souffle and the orecchiette with tomatoes in an anchovies sauce. The potatoes encrusted bass was good too. We were disappointed with the dessert- it tasted like it was a cheap supermarket brand. Skip the dessert and go elsewhere for ice-cream.

Overall, it's a recommended place for its outdoor seating and the menu dishes (but not for the fish of the day and the dolce) I would give this place 3.5 stars, but its not available on Tripadvisor

We were a group of 9 friends and pleased to have a large table outside in the courtyard. The head waiter gave us a full explanation of the various courses which was great.
However, the food when it came was poor and some of the main courses were cold and the waiters didn't want to understand what the problems were.
It was an expensive night and not one to be repeated.

I can't comment too much on the food as we only had sea bass in baked salt but this was nice. Service was also good which is rare in Puglia. The settings were very nice with a lovely candlelit garden. Rather pricey but overall a very pleasant evening.
