“Really a nice surprise”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

Sometimes traffic jams are just providing opportunities. And this is what happen to us on Sunday, November the 4th.
Being stuck in a cue due to roadworks between Arma di Taggia and Imperia East, we decided to leave the highway and to find a place where we could have lunch. Thanks to Tripadvisor we got to know Nero di Seppia. The place is right in front of the sea in Borgo Foce. The style of the furniture is minimal but this is the only thing you can call this way. Food, well introduced from the owner, was just great. Big mention for the fried anchoives but how to forget talking about the mixed fried fish and vegetables... Service was very warm and accurate (small thing but parents know how important it is: the children orders immediately communicated to the kitchen to make sure they get served quickly).
4 adults and 4 children, a couple of starters to share and then a main course for each of use, some good wine for slightly more then 15 euros per person. Sure it was very good value for money.
This place is gonna become a regular stop on our way to France...

“no dish with Nero di Seppia...”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

poor service, poor food, not even a dish with the Nero die Sepia...a try to do something modern at higher prices...it is not going to work with the competition around...

“great location”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

This restaurant is right by the sea in a little cul de sac off the main seafront road along the coast. Parking nearby without the hassle of trying to find a space in the city centre. Food is fresh, excellent and friendly staff, will be going back!

“Lovely place to enjoy a very nice meal.”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

I have eaten here a couple of times with my girlfriend and we were very impressed with the quality of food on the menu plus the wine on offer, not forgetting the staff whom were friendly and helpful.
Situated near to the sea and only a short 10 minute walk westward along the coast from Imperia Porto Maurizio harbour, well worth a visit.
We sat inside on one occasion as it was off season, the sea was rough and the impressive looking waves looked as though they would reach the restaurant but just out of sight there is a breakwater stopping them in their tracks.
Will definitely visit again and soon.
