We had no idea we'd love Sicily so much. When I think back it was partially due to this hotel. It's a simple hotel in an old town but the people that work there are so nice and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. The hotel is right on the ocean and has a great rooftop patio where they serve the included breakfast. They'll also do a custom dinner with seafood caught for your meal that day (extra). The only downsides we had is the parking which is a general problem in the area and the street noise which gets better after dark. We found ourselves surprised at how comfortable and welcome we found ourselves and would definately stay there again.

Room Tip: The hotel faces the ocean so it might be nicer to ask for an oceanview room next time although we al...

Having researched all the hotels of Giardini Naxos on Trip Advisor, I was persuaded to book a week in Hotel Palladio and thought it would be interesting to see if it lived up to its ranking of first out of 39. It most certainly did and more besides. We were warmly greeted on arrival by the owner and escorted to our room by one of the receptionists who showed us how everything worked, ansered all our queries and then treated us to a complimentary welcome glass of wine. We had never been welcomed like this before anywhere in the world. The hotel was exceptional in quality of service, superb local naturally produced food, cleanliness and friendly disposition of all the cheerful staff. Not to mention the fantastic sea views from the front-facing rooms with balcony, the complimentary wifi, towels for the beach, airport and local bus-stop just across the road, proximity to the railway station and little gift on departure. Words cannot describe the excellence of this family-run hotel.

Room Tip: Be sure to book a superior sea view room.

Fully agree with previous reviews. We stayed three days in this hotel, which is located on the boulevard with a beautful view. Rooms are well insulated, so no problems with the traffic. The service and attendance of all staff (reception, breakfast, dinner) is outstanding. You feel very welcome in this cosy hotel. The best we have experienced in Sicily. Breakfast is served on the terrace on the fourth floor with astonishing views. Best way to start the day!. Breakfast is rich, much more than other Sicilian hotels). Dinner in the evening is also amazing. Rich menu, really fresh food (mostly fish), wonderful prepared and served.
All in all, our best experience in one week Sicily.

Room Tip: Rooms with sea view are much more attractive.

I agree what is written here about the hotel, hospitable and warm welcome and amiable staff.
I am professionally engaged in cooking, so I want to tell you about the excellent cuisine. Each morning the hotel owner Mrs. Catharine buys fish and seafood were caught that night, the best local fruits and vegetables, seasonal specialties. Every evening the restaurant has a new menu. All dishes are prepared according to traditional recipes. This is the best place to try and enjoy the Sicilian cuisine!

Our return visit in May will be our third stay at the hotel.
The service at the hotel is what makes it stand out ,it has real character and a homley feel.
It is also very clean which is very important to us. The staff are very attentive and helpful at all times.
I really enjoyed my chats with the owner, who shared the interesting history of the hotel, and look forward to meeting him and the staff again soon.
The location is excellent as it is away from the centre of Giardini where it can be very noisy and busy during the busy season
what better way to wake up in the morning with a sea view , a cruise ship sitting in the bay and that wonderful breakfast to look forward to.

This place has excellent service and a great location on the sea front. I think the owner is an arttist and you can really sense it with the way it is decorated. We looked a several rooms when deciding which one to take, and they are all very individual. There is a deluxe one at the top which is particularly nice. Staying off-season, the town was pretty quiet so it was perfect. In height of summer it would be different but they had roof terrace that would probably be very nice.
It makes a good base for Taormina.
A word of warning, there is a one way system that runs the length of the sea front, so if you miss a parking space, you have to do the circle! Parking is a bit of a problem, the hotel has a few dedicated bays but outside of that you need to pay (and there are active traffic wardens), but don't let that put you off. They did seem to have an underground car park, but not sure if it was or maybe not open for November, might be worth asking.

Room Tip: As always, higher is better
