“Hilton Giardini”

Some say this hotel is 5 stars, but i think it is more like a 3 star hotel. It is in a great location, and we found it to be very kid friendly since we were traveling with 2 kids and an infant. The view is obviously awesome, the rooms and beds are BIG which is extremely rare when traveling throughout Sicily, especially a room having a full size shower and bath tub. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Do NOT go here for the beach!!! The beach sucks, so you will spend your time by the pool. However, be aware that if you go at a busy time, finding a chair by the pool after 9am will be very difficult since many people protect their chairs with towels and then disappear which is a problem that the hotel staff needs to address and enforce their own rule preventing people from doing this. If you want an awesome beach in Sicily go to San Vito Lo Capo or Fontane Bianche. We took the bus to Taormina and the bus stop is less than a block away from the hotel which is another bonus. We found the restaurants in Giardini to be among the best and most affordable throughout our trip which covered most of Sicily, especially the restaurants immediately across from the hotel. The hotel nickel and dimes you for everything, including Internet. We found things that we expected to be expensive, to be cheap at this hotel and conversely found things we thought would be cheap to be expensive. Overall we definitely recommend this hotel for anybody traveling to or near Taormina. You Definitely get way more for your money than if you stay in Taormina.

The hotel was ideally situated, minutes away from the bus station and just across the street from good restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were super comfy. We had a sea view room with a large balcony and the ac was silent as ever. The swimming pool was very close, but offered only 70 sunbeds and had no pool for the kids. The beach was just a few metres away but you had to rent out sunbed for 5 euros and umbrella for another 5 euros which was ridiculous.
The cleaning was most of the time not ready by 2pm and this was a bit of an inconvenience if you wanted to rest as they would then keep on knocking and asking what time they could come etc.
The hotel badly needs to be renovated, fresh paint, arrange chipped doors etc. On the whole its well kept but needs direly to be renovated if its to keep up its name.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn't mind going back, hopefully with renovations in place to make it once again a real Hilton hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors, with sea view.

This hotel truly helped make our stay so much more pleasurable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel is wonderful, it has tons of authentic sicilian restaurants within walkign distance, a pharmacy, grocerry store, ice cream, and souvenir shops. The location isn't as touristic and scenic as Taromina, which gives it a more "sicilian" feel to it. The hotel itself is very well kept, rooms are nice and spacious. The pool is lovely and the beach is perfect. The gym and spa are adequate. Staff are extremely friendly, and many of them speak English (which is quite rare). Breakfast also is adequate, nothing special about it, a few pastries, scrambled eggs, a small selection of cheese, and fruit. They offer a conveienent kids club where kids are supervised and enteratined by a team of fun girls either at the pool, or the grassy area by the beach. I couldn't have picked a better hotel for our family for this trip, and would definately stay there again.

Room Tip: The thermostat in the rooms are controlled by the front desk, make sure to request the temperature y...

If you can play around with your arrival and departure dates there are some very good deals to be had here. International standard hotel with large rooms balconies and excellent beds and pillows. Less tired than I expected from other reviews. Our room looked like it had a recent makeover. Location is not ideal for Taormina - taxi about 55-60 euros for a return trip. Giardini Naxos itself is about a ten minute walk and has a better beach but not many other redeeming features. Pool is OK and loungers here are free. They charge for loungers on the shingle beach 15euros for 2 plus umbrella and a whopping 12.50 daily for WiFi.

This is a good hilton but of course again not the usual hilton, the breakfast is not what the hilton breakfast is all about, its much less in variety, and the quality is not one of the best.
Well located if one ones to stay here when visiting Taormina, in the sense close to a bus station where buses go regularly and take about 20 mins to reach Taormina main town.
The rooms overlook the ocean but then that s about it.
This hotel needs to be spruced up for sure, but the big surprise here is the SPA, absolutely fantastic and the massages are to die for, so good are they.
If in the area i shall go there for sure, for the massage if nothing else and the pool and the spa facilities are the best

I was at the Hilton Naxos last week with my husband and son. We had a great time, we really enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was great and the room we booked had a great view, very clean with a lovely and firendly made. I'm little disappointed with the number of sunbeds in the pool but we paid for the private beach which was better as less people around. The SPA is very nice but too expensive. The bar needs to show more food, it looks poor. The front office staff was helpfull and the concierge Alexander gave to us all the information we wanted and told us what to see around. Thank you,

We stayed here for 8 days as a part of our vacation to Sicily. Loved the hotel staff I thought they were very helpful and willing to work with us on just about everything we needed especially anna maria. The pool is busy but the staff are willing to help find you a chair if there are none available. I had a great energizing massage from Roberta at the spa. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel charges €15 for using beach chairs on the rocky beach (make sure u bring water shoes) and the indoor pool charges €20 per day!
