“Lovely hotel, great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

A lovely, clean hotel in a perfect location for the Lake. Every part of the hotel was spotless, rooms could maybe do with being updated but that is all. Food good too. Hotel was close to the bus station which was good for access to other areas of the lake. Not too much at the hotel for kids and ball games not allowed in the pool but that didn't spoil our experience.

Me and a friend stayed at the Hotel Imperial for three nights in August. After an early flight and landing at Verona airport in the rain (the first rain in three months apparently, which didn't help in the slightest), our spirits were low. Checking into the Hotel Imperial was the perfect solution. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine and a map of the area was provided for us to go and explore whilst we waited to check into the room.

This was just the start of the great customer service that the hotel staff provided. They were so quick to help, from rushing upstairs to show us how to use the satellite tv as soon as we asked, providing us with maps, bus timetables and recommendations to ensure we got the most out of our visit. We were mostly helped by a young man with an earring, unfortunately never caught his name, but would like to pass our thanks along anyway, a credit to the hotel. It was perfectly located, easy to get into the centre of town, safe to walk to and from at night, and had lots of things within the hotel to enjoy yourself with-a pool, ping pong table, etc.

Finally, the food was fantastic! I've always gone B&B before and was apprehensive about going half board but the standard of catering was above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Garda, you won't find anywhere better!

Cant fault this hotel, friendly reception on arrival, polite, helpful staffs ,spotlessly clean. Good food.
It really does feel like a family run hotel and you can see the pride in the owners who are present.
Excellent location.
Gala Night was a real treat!
Carol Walker.

Room Tip: poolside rooms had balconies, rooms at the back would have view of a street, narrow street.

We have have just returned from a lovely 4 night break to the Imperial in Garda.
We booked this with Crystal holidays and everything was perfect.
The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the lake and restaurants.
We had a lovely room with views of the lake and it had great air conditioning which was needed as it was about 36 degrees every day.
The food was good and the pool was lovely for a nice refreshing dip after a long walk to Bardolino and back.
We used the local bus for a day in Verona which was very easy to do as the bus station is only a short walk away. We booked The lake tour with Crystal which was a great day out and good value for money. The guide was really good and knew everything about the area. It was a great way to see the other resorts.
We will return to this hotel again but for a longer duration as didn't see everything we wanted to see.
Thanks to all the staff at The Imperial hotel for a great time.

visited for two weeks in june with thomson holidays.liked this hotel a lot, staff very friendly and helpful.it is in a quiet location but only 5 mins walk to lake.we found meals good,we were half board.bar snacks reasonable price all day.rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day.our bedroom was pool facing which meant balcony very hot in afternoon.a fab gala night o n thursdays.this is a family run hotel and all staff work very hard.we would have no hesitation in returning to this friendly, relaxed hotel in the future.garda is a beauriful place ,so much to do if you wishor just relax by the lake.

Room Tip: pool facing room has no night noise but it does cost extra.balcony was very hot when we visited but...

Returned yesterday from the Hotel Imperial and what a holiday! This hotel is a real find - the owners are lovely and so helpful; from advising us how to travel independently to Venice to putting batteries into toys! The selection of food available for breakfast and dinner was delicious and all staff were very friendly and helpful. To Alexandra - la regina di Scozia says 'Grazie' - you made her holiday! The Imperial is ideally placed for Lake Garda and is not to be missed. We can't wait to return!

Booked the hotel on recommendation from my sons future father and mother in law. This is a delightful hotel within a few minutes walk of Lake Garda. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were impressed by all aspects of the Hotel. We had a room with a balcony which had a good view of the beautiful area surrounding Lake Garda..The weather was very hot and sunny and as all rooms have air conditioning it made it easier to sleep. Our room was adequately sized with the usual facilities and was kept pristine by an attentive cleaning staff. We opted for evening meals and were impressed by the menu variety and the high standard of food and attention from the staff who were always polite and helpful. What more can you want on your holidays. Enjoy!!!!
