“Casa Lady”
Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Just returned from Garda having spent a week there. Loved the resort and we ate at the Casa Lady four times in all. The menu was very competitively priced and there was no extra cover charge for the table. The location was great with a good view of the lake if you were willing to wait for a table. For the first couple of nights we sat in the side lane and the service was excellent. The waiter was really friendly and we enjoyed our meals. The last two occasions we managed to get a table at the front with views to the lake. This experience wasn't as good-we spent in the region of Euro 45 to feed a family of four (which was very reasonable) but whilst the food was lovely, the waiters did seem to want to rush to get us out of there so that they could reset the table for the next guests. This was most off putting and the worst example of this was when the waiter tried to remove my son's plate whilst he was still eating his last slice of pizza! Another gripe was that the different meals were served at different times eg two lasagnes were served to my wife and son whilst we waited 10 mins for our pizza's to arrive. This is a small gripe, but we didn't get to enjoy our meal together which is a must when you go out to eat!

Overall a nice little restaurant ,just needs slow things down a little so that the guests can enjoy the experience!

“Busy trattoria with small lake frontage and side street seating.”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

Sat on the front on a very hot night. Vast menu which always makes me suspicious as it can't all be fresh. Still, my husband enjoyed his Lasagne and I had the meatballs in tomato sauce with french fries followed by a Lemon Sorbet. Ok meal, but nothing outstanding, maybe it was my poor choice from the menu.

“A good little find.”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

Set back from the water's edge, but still with a good view of the lake where dining gives you a choice of inside, with air conditioning, outside in the side lane or at the front. A lot quieter than their busy and trendy neighbour, the Frog Garden it is more a family run restaurant. The establishment produces good quality of food with generous portions that are good value for money. Their mussel soup was really 75% mussels,on shell, with 25% of tasty tomato broth, not what was expected in a soup but delicious and recommended ! Staff were attentive, friendly and spoke good English. There is no cover charge here. Although we found it late in our holiday we still managed to use it twice.

“Very Good”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We visited this restaurant twice whilst staying in Garda. The food was very good - we had pizza, lasagne and spaghetti and meatballs. The prices were very reasonable and there was no additional service charge.
