We liked the variety of food offered and it was very good value. Our only criticism was that there was such a lot to eat in quite quick succession it was a little offputting and some of it felt in the wrong order. However, the wine given to us at the end was a nice little extra.

We've been coming to Graspo's for several years whilst on holiday in Garda, but I thought the meal this time was not as good as in previous years. There seemed to be less in each portion. Still the variety of courses, but whereas before you would have a bowl piled up with fried shrimp, this time there was only half a bowl full, and one course was a tiny flat fish (can't remember the name of it), but there were so many bones in it we couldn't eat it. We will probably come again in the future just to make sure, but it seems to be turning into a bit of a tourist trap.

We could not have enjoyed a meal more. Two of us were sea food lovers and received twelve (yes twelve) different plates of food. Each was explained in detail, even down to where the rice in the risotto came from. The courses were all varied, and included both local freshwater produce and seafood. Almost without fail it was beautifully cooked and presented (although one odd looking shellfish could only be described as "an awaited taste".
The third person on the party was vegetarian. We were a little concerned, reading some reviews, how she would find Graspo, but she could not have been treated better. Little touches such as fetching the "extra special" balsamic vinegar for her salad really made her smile, and she received five large plates of a variety of dishes.
The meal included two small desserts, wine, limoncello and coffee, along with two bottles of wine to take home and the bill was incredibly good value at 30 euros for the seafood and 20 for the vegetarian (something not pointed out in reviews critical of the vegetarian option).
We would go back anytime and adored every mouthful

I eat sea food, meat never touches my mouth. My wife was raised by the coast and also loves this food. Our expectations of Graspo were therefore high particularly as it came recommended. However the food was spoilt by the level of salt used, which was over powering and prevented the individual flavours of the meal from being enjoyed. The result was bland and we left after the fourth dish paying for what we had eaten. This was not an inexpensive meal and while the free bottle of wine helped we left very disappointed.

The real deal.
You make a choice between 2/3 meals (meat, fish, pasta). Everyone gets the same from their choice. But always something different each night. You will then be surprised by a selection of Italian tapaz. Plate after plate. The food is local, homemade and probably the best food experience you will have in Garda.

The restaurant itself is busy and at the end of our meal we were given a bottle of local wine for the road home.

This can't be missed if you are staying or passing through Garda.
