We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before heading on to Venice, and it was a good choice. Travelling by train and bus, we wanted a location in Garda that was accessible, and Garda is well placed for exploring both further north and south by boat or bus. The hotel is also a 5 min walk from the bus station, and placed in the centre of Garda where there are restaurants and bars pretty much on its doorstep.

The hotel was very clean and all the fittings/fixtures etc. are maintained to a high standard; it is clear that the owner takes pride in making sure everything in the hotel is just right. The air conditioning was great, as it was very warm in the evenings, the bathroom had a good shower with excellent pressure and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was very good - a range of bread, cake, pastries, and hot food like eggs and bacon. Again, the owner and his wife were very attentive, and wanted to make sure everything was right. They also said hello every time we went out or came back, which was nice to feel welcome. It is a quiet place with not much atmosphere. Despite being set up as a bar downstairs in the evening, we never really saw anyone drinking in there. But then as a place to stay, this is actually quite good.

It is quite pricey to stay anywhere in Lake Garda, and this wasn't exactly a bargain, but I certainly didn't feel cheated by the price - everything was very good and I would certainly recommend it. A very nice hotel.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for three days in July 2012. This time (July 2013) we stayed for seven days together with our son. The hotel was still the same cosy family hotel although the standard was a bit upgraded since our previous stay. (Most notably a better Internet service.) The owners, Barbara and Francesco, were still engaged on taking care of their guests and the breakfast was still eaten in the cosy small street outside (although you could eat inside if you wanted). The rooms were always clean, the beds are excellent and the location is perfect, close to the sea and in a quiet street. The air condition worked perfect and we did not experience any problem with the hotel at all. Our son also enjoyed the stay and I can guarantee that this will be our preferred hotel the next time we go to Garda.

Stayed for 6 nights in this excellent hotel. The location is superb - central but in a quiet side street in Garda. We had a room overlooking the street but there was no noise. The room itself was smallish but well designed and very clean, as was the bathroom.
There is a fridge and a safe in the room and plently of wardrobe space. Wifi is very good.
Breakfast was good (continental) -well presented, fresh and of good quality. Seating is indoors or outside on the street.
The owners are friendly and helpful. For example although we only booked last minute (within 48 hours) they provided specialist bread and biscuits for my gluten free diet.
Garda itself is a good base for exploring Lake garda on the ferries and buses. However please note if you are using the bus 162 on the east side of the lake or down to Verona - it used to be numbered 62/64 and some of the bus stops have not been re-numbered so still show 62/64

Fantastic friendly hotel situated close to the lake and the shops, restaurants etc. The owners and staff were lovely, very welcoming. This trip (March) was our fourth trip to Garda and we stayed for 7 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday. Lovely surprise at breakfast when I was presented with a cake and Prosecco.

The room was great and the bathroom quite big. We overlooked the road but out of season it was very quiet. No balconies but if the air con is anything like the heating then you would not have to worry about room temperature in the summer. Rooms and hotel in general were really clean.

Definitely would stay here again. Hotel was very well run, we really enjoyed staying here.

We arrived to a friendly welcome from the hotel manager, who was expecting us as he already knew my name as soon as we entered reception. Quick check in and headed to our room, which was perfect. Lovely bathroom and adequate sized & comfortable room, room facilities that may be of use to you - hairdryer, safe, kettle all available in your room free of charge. No irons.
The location is great, in view of the lake down a cobbled side street, next to a supermarket and bars - literally a 20 second walk to the lake front. We had no problems with the noise although our room over looked the street.
Breakfast was lovely although basic - that's what you get with a 'continental breakfast' variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, bread, croissants, ham, cheese and tea/coffee machine, we ate our breakfast in the side street where there were breafast tables set up - a lovely touch first thing in the morning.
The hotel is just a 5-10min walk from the main bus station in Garda (From the bus station cross the main road to the lake side & head down the main road to your right if you are looking at the lake, continue down the road you will see Bar 'La Meta' on your left and the hotel is just there ) So if you are travelling from Verona Bus/Train station or Pecscheira train station it is within easy reach using local transport.
Garda resort itself is a great base for visting the other resorts around the lake, or venice & Verona. All in all a great holiday, and lovely base staying at Hotel Miro - we will return again thank you!

stayed for 5 days end of July. Hotel si easy to find from the bus station and very central to the lake. Staff very friendly and efficient. Room was nice and bathrrom spacious and well equiped. There was no balcony as such and the view looked onto a parking lot. The hotel could have done with a guide in the room to list hotel facilities, suggested areas of interest and things to do in the area. Internet is not available in the rooms but is in the public areas. Breakfast was nice, typical Italian, juice, meats, cheeses and croissants. Would reccoment staying here if you dont wish to have a pool, and are looking for a clean central place to stay

Room Tip: Dont forget there is a jacuzzi in the hotel

I only have compliments for this hotel. It is ideally situated, in vicinity of the lake and close to restaurants, shops and other facilities. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The price was more than adequate for the service we got.
