Spent 5 nights at the hotel at the beginning of September after my daughter's wedding in Tuscant.
Whilst aware that the resort was an expensive one, as was the hotel, the accommodation was excellent. The staff made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble, from reception to the restaurant and Domenica in the bar.
We ate in the restaurant the first night we were there, and to be honest, it was overpriced and underwhelming. Very average, and we did not eat there again.
Breakfast however was excellent and never failed to please.
The room was again superb, magnificent bathroom and a shower i could have taken home with me ! Great shuttle service to and from town which is walkable, but can be a little too much.
The only down side were the beach facilities provided by the Hotel and shared with the Augustus.
I expected that the facilities would be more expensive than those i had experienced in Italy before, but Euros 150 to 200 for a beach umbrella and 2 loungers for the day was from planet Zog !!!!!
No information on the Hotel website as far as pricing was concerned so maybe i was being a little naive to beleive that prices would be more reasonable ?
A pity because the town is lovely, we were there for the fireworks and market on the town's Saints day,and lovely restaurants, some expensive, some not.
Wherever we went to eat we seemed to bump into Paul Smith the designer, and he didn't go to all the expensive eateries.
So, lovely hotel apart from the cost of the beach facilities, which is a shame that that is what i remember most.
