The restaurant sits on the Lungomare, perhaps not in a prime position, a bit away from the centre of the village, but it was nice to work up an appetite ahead of our dinner. They serve mostly fish, although some meat can be arranged. Service is good, and attentive. The menu is unusual and with a twist, which certainly deserves a wee commendation. Very little choice, almost a set menu, which is a v. good sign as it means that everything is cooked express and food is fresh -- no waste. I cannot fault what we had, including the day's special, however the two points of constructive criticism I can make are: carefull with that salt when doing the pasta dishes, and a bit too slow in the kitchen. As I said, I do appreciate that everything comes out fresh from the oven and is cooked "on demand" but people go to a reastaurant to eat and not to watch passers by. Get a bit more clockwork in that kitchen (perhaps an extra aide, particularly for busy nights, there being only the chef and a sub) and you will be able to move up one notch.
A nice wee restautant, albeit a bit dear, and a nice night. Recommended for a special meal.
