Every summer, I drive more than one hour to this restaurant, whenever I can, because it is fully booked most of the time! Since ten years, a very gourmet italian friend has taken me to every gourmet restaurant on the coast he has heard or read about — a disappointment everytime, since the simplest village trattoria almost always offers tastier food than the more high-brow and and sophisticated restaurants in Italy.
But this restaurant is truly exceptional. The food is higly creative, orginal, sophisticated, but at the same time very down-to-earth, authentic, typical. They do pata with local fish types you never heard of, because they are simple fish simple people eat. There is so much creativity, soul and spirit in every dish, and perfect technique at the same time!
Definitively one of my favorite restaurants in the world, can't wait to get back!
