"Da Ciro" is a very well-know and largely appreciated "pizzeria" in Ferrara and should not require any presentation. My wife and I are used to go to "Ciro" quite often because of its very good (and easily-digestible) pizza.
Last time we went there, I decided to take something different: a dish of "Cappellacci di Zucca all'arancia e guanciale di maiale". I was surprised by the very good taste and high quality of this (apparently simple) dish.
So, try this restaurant/pizzeria with your family or friends and do not limit yourself to pizza. The traditional food is very taste as well.
We are used to spend between 35 and 45 € for two pizzas, two beers, a couple of desserts and a couple of coffes. The traditional food can make you spend something between 50 and 60 € for two people, including a bootle of (very good) wine.
Two small drawbacks: first, it is quite hard to park your car near the restaurant. There is a small private parking area but is usually full at every moment of the day. You will be forced to park in some side street (it is almost impossible to reach the restaurant on foot or with a bus). Second, "Da Ciro" is usually full of happy and noisy people: families, small and large groups of friends, etc. Be prepared to shout to be heard.
