“Good restaurant”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

We visited this restaurant for a business dinner and we tried a variety of dishes which were Ferrara's traditional food.
The food was tasty, but for me some dishes were too salty.
The atmosphere is nice, but the service was slow.

“Value for money”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

What a nice restaurant! Located in an ugly and hidden but central alley, the room is spacious without being huge and anonymous. The number of tables is correct (so the tables are not attached to each other). The menu is mainly that of regional and Italian cuisine. The quality is excellent. The dishes reflect the typical flavors of the wonderful "romagnola" cuisine. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are fair and the wine markups are so smart that you are willing to drink them (we were three and we paid 45 euro per person including wine). As soon as I go back to Ferrara, I will eat there again!

“Wonderful, innovative food in a classy setting”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

We went twice in four days to this wonderful, somewhat traditional Ferrara ristorante, and we certainly were not disappointed. I loved the local pasta dishes, the terrific service - the owner remember my name on the 2nd visit - and great decor.

“Great Italian Food”
Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

We've eaten here twice. The first time it was late and getting a menu took a while. However, things improved and the food and house wine were excellent and service attentive.
The second visit was earlier in the evening and the service was more prompt. We tried different dishes and were once again delighted with what we were served.
There is an extensive, if dear, beer list in addition to fine wines.
I'd happy return here again and again. It is clearly and justifiably popular.
