B&B Madonna degli Angeli
Ranked #7 of 61 Fano B&B and Inns
Reviewed September 26, 2011

This B&B was absolutely the surprise highlight of our trip to Italy, having booked it on the internet from the USA. The accommodation was extremely clean and well appointed to a very high standard and they have a variety of room choices catering to couples and families. The location was exclusive, being set back in the hills but close enough to the coast for an easy trip to the beach for the family (just 10 minutes by car). The hospitality shown to us by the host family was unbelievable, and went way beyond what you would normally expect. Breakfast is served poolside with plenty of choices, including homemade cakes! And finally, if you get the opportunity, request an evening meal where you will be treated to some of the best 'home cooked' (by the owner) Italian food you are likely to experience. This accommodation is a real gem, and we wouldn't hesitate to go back again!

This small, quiet B&B was a lucky find but an exquisite one. We were looking for a one-night stop on our circuit of northern Italy and our search on the internet led us here. The location is remote but the country setting was spectacular. The property sits on top of a hill covered with olive and walnut trees with a view of the Adriatic Sea in the background. They have a pool and if you are traveling with children there is plenty of room for them to play outside. The facility is spotless, the rooms large and the bathrooms clean and functional. Breakfast is part of the package but we were lucky enough to have them prepare dinner for us. Their meal was simple but delicious, using local foods and ingredients, some produced on this property. As with most places, the hospitality makes the difference, and the owners of Madonna degli Angeli were fantastic. We spent a lot of time talking with Stefano who speaks very good English and is current on world events, from politics to sports. On our next trip we plan to spend several days here, making it our base as we explore the eastern coast of Italy.
