Maybe our standards are too high but we were disappointed with the apartment we took for one week. Among the problems were: 2 of the 4 chairs on our patio were broken, the awning over the patio was filthy, there was a 3-inch yellow tide-mark all around the pool, and the poolside tables and ashtrays were never clean. Cleaning and maintenance are clearly not a priority and standards are not as high as the other agriturismos we've stayed in.
In addition the cooking facilities in the apartment were as advertised, but in practice are inadequate for anything other than snacks, there being no oven, grill, microwave or toaster.
The restaurant was very acceptable, however, and reasonably priced. So on present form, we would say "eat at the restaurant but don't stay at Tre Re".

We stayed here for 4 nights. We booked room 'Albana' from the pictures on Tripadvisor and the website. Let me just summarize:

- The bed in room Albana is TERRIBLE!! Don't book this room!! You just won't sleep!! The bed is very old (traditional we were told... yeah right...), but you just won't came to rest. We slept apart the last two nights, one in the bed, one on the sofa...
- The shower and bathroom in this room is a bit old, fine. But we were 2 without water when taking a shower...

- We were waked up at 9 by the housekeeping. When we told the reception we were not amused they just told us to use the 'do not disturb' sign. What sign? We didn't have one!

- The other day housekeeping just left their key in our door, so everybody could have entered the room. No apologize, can happen sir... What if our passport, keys, car, money was gone? 'oops, can happen sir....'

- We arrived at Sunday during the mid-season, although there were a lot of people at the pool! We were told these were all guests... (yeah and they all checked out Monday and disappear, it were not guests, it was friends and family and neighbors).

- You have to pay 8 euro pp for wine tasting. Don't do it! The wine has a DOCG-rating, but it's nothing special. I'll advise you to go elsewhere, have a FREE tasting (like almost everywhere in Italy) and buy some good bottles.

- Breakfast was OK, nothing special.

- We had diner one evening, it was good, but not that special as described.

But.... The worst thing of all, is that after we came home we received an e-mail of Trere. Not to apologize, but to repeat it was OUR choice to stay, we then shouldn't have booked an agri etc. etc. We didn't find it an happy experience, especially the e-mail afterwards was very rude to us.

Note for Trere staff: Please have a look at my other reviews here on Tripadvisor, also Agri's, so you can see we are familiar with going on holiday at an agri and there are lovely places in Italy!

Room Tip: Don't book room Albana! There are also rooms on the side of the road. Keep in mind you have to w...

Very friendly staff. A wonderful experience. Helpful with directions and truly fabulous food.
We would love to go back and bring our friends and family from Ireland. Ireland could learn a lot from this type of set-up.

Room Tip: Internet access struggles through solid walls...try to get a room near router if you need it.

Outstanding service- genuinely nice staff couldn't be more helpful.

Lovely rooms- we stayed in a new building in grounds of property which was beautifully furnished. The food was great and inexpensive. Estate wine delicious.

Beautiful well maintained pool and pool area. Easy access to Faenza (nice pottery), and Bologna Airport (allow extra time as motorway can be very busy).

We really enjoyed our stay

Room Tip: Check to see if there is an evening wedding or party- you may prefer a room away from main building

superb location, with vineyards as far as the eye can see, swimming pool, resident peacocks.
The apartment was comfortable and the view, the building and the suuroundings were fantastic!
Very cose to amenities, and close to Bologna (beautifl city), Fanza (hum), Ravenna (gorgeous). We alos liked Brisighella, which is only a few kilometres away.

The room was nice, bathroom was large (although tiny shower), food was great, but the best part of our stay was Allessandra. So friendly and totally genuine!!! Having a chance to meet people like her while on vacation makes the trip more special.

Carissima famiglia TreRè,

We would like to say 'mille grazie' for the fantastic holiday we had on TreRè. The apartment was lovely, the wine, the food and the marmelade tasted all very very good and all the people of TreRè and the service were very nice! Thank you very much!
