“Great location, average food for being in Sicily”
Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

We were advised to come from locals who visited some time ago, and we were not impressed. Food quality was not at sicilian levels: pasta pre-cooked and quite mashy to the palate, the ricciola steak was good but not excellent, the house wine sSrved, a usually honest local catarratto, was sweet to the edge of sugary.
We were with a Sicilian friend and had almost to apologize for the choice done, peccato.

“Restaurant Erice”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

This was a fantastic experience. Great surroundings. Good service. Best carpaccio we ever had. Great nero d'avola sicilian wine. Ravioli was wow! Main course was exellent too. Tiramisu not the best we had but very good. Highly reccomended!

“A wonderful Father's Day treat”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was the most enjoyable meal of our 2 weeks in Sicily. It was Father's Day (at least it was in the UK) when we went and we arrived fairly early for Sicily, at about 7.45pm. The advantage of this was that, without any reservation, we got a table for 2 looking out over the town and out to sea for the sun-set.

Service was attentive and we chose food ( veal and swordfish)cooked in a Sicilian style. The quality of the food was high and the price, in my view, very reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the semi-freddo for dessert.
