We read about the restaurant on trip advisor and decided we eat here. We found the in the no cars area near the railway. It looked abandoned! We walked around town for an hour or so, then we went back to have second look. There was an APERTO sign, but no lights or apparent life. However we opened the door and went gingerly in. A voice appeared from the back, we met a pleasant man who took our booking for the next night, eight o'clock on Saturday! There were no other booking in his diary for Friday or Saturday! We were no sure we had done the right thing. On Saturday we arrived at eight, it still looked more closed than open, we entered and saw only one table occupied, a waitress greeted us and told to sit where we wished. We chose the table of six by the window, at least we could see the menu! My wife speaks good but not perfect Italian, she went to school thereto for three years. However we had difficulty ordering. But the wine, water and bread arrived, we settled in and waited about twenty minutes orzo for our food. Meanwhile the restaurant filled up with locals, couples, friends and families. Our food arrived, my wife's spaghetti pommodoro and my tagliatelle in cooking pots with kitchen utensils as serving spoons. It was the best pasta I have he'd in many years, my wife can be picky but spent as much time praising the chef as eating her food. It was fantastic. Just be brave and go in...
