This is a very traditional atmospheric mountain refuge, but there is absolutely nothing welcoming about the service. Although we had made a booking we were completely ignored for over 10 minutes, until we asked for the third time when our table would be ready. We were then shown to a table for 6 with 2 people already sat at it, then a further 2 joined. Not at all cosy as we had planned. Prepare to spend your time here being ignored and having to ask twice for everything, plus no service with a smile from the admittedly busy staff. I would say this place is a victim of it's own success. We had been very much looking forward to our lunch here, we were disappointed. I would have given 1 star had the food not been reasonably good and once ordered it was the only thing delivered quickly. There are more welcoming refuges on the slopes, try those instead.
