“The pig, the whole pig and nothing but the pig!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

Ate here three times during our week in Corvara 2013. Service and quality were faultless, very friendly with free appetisers and drinks thrown in after the first visit. For the last night we ordered the whole pig in advance for us to share. A great experience but will probably stick to the main menu next year.

“Weird but good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2012

We went in out of desperation because most of the town was shut. The restaurant is cosy and the hostess was very friendly.
Whoever translated the menu into English needs a few more lessons and so trying to figure out what we were going to order was a bit tricky.(What is a buffoon? Apparently some sort of pasta). It seems everything involves deer in some form or another . The food was tasty however and in reasonable quantities. It was a touch more expensive than the other restaurants we had visited.

“very good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2011

I had dinner in this really nice restaurant in Corvara. Don't be afraid of the front entrance, because it doesn't look so inviting, but once you step down into it, you'll find out a very nice place. Food is simply really good, especially the meat. They offer an interesting choice of regional dishes and grilled meat.
Desserts amazing too!!!Price around 40/50 euros.

“Beautiful Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2011

The basic sign outside does not really do this restaurant justice, or give you any idea of what awaits inside.

Like many retauarants in Corvara, it is 'hidden' beneath a hotel / appartments, but once inside you enter a lovely restaurant. The food is excellent - local dishes and ingredients but really well prepared and presented. It is a little more expensive than you might pay elsewhere but still good value for the quality received.

Service is great, we asked if a 'primi' pasts dish was big enough to share and they actually split it in the kitchen into two separate bowls. It was indeed more than enough when followed by a large meat dish.

Definitely worth a visit.
