“a fantastic restaurant in a working farm”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

"Agriturismo" is the Italian definition for a restaurant in a working farm, where a large part of the food comes from local produce. This is what the Brite de Larieto is. Everything is fantastic, starting from the location ("larieto" is dialect for larch-tree wood: the farm sits in a clearing on the slopes of Pomagagnon), to the building itself (traditional wooden structure), to the choice of food and wine. Wonderful in the daytime, in all seasons, and wonderful for dinner. Fantastic place.

“Amazing food at Km0”
Reviewed December 9, 2013 via mobile

The best food is also went is made right in front of your eyes but also when the ingredients come right from there... This is not just a place to eat but a Malga to taste the milk, yogurt, butter, pasta and so on from their own cows... I suggest to order first course such as gnocchi or pasta, and the dessert, this place is known for that...

“my favourite restaurant in the valley”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

Really authentic atmosphere within a suggestive farm in the middle of the woods.

I have been eating in this restaurant for the last 15 years and everytime is like the first time.

You must try the local Antipasti, home made and delicious. They have a good selections of typical Ampezzani food, and they serve the best Dessert ever: Sweet Ricotta Knoedels with home made Vanilla Ice cream and Berries warm compote.

“Nice and good”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

The location among trees, cows and grass just few minutes from the crowded Cortina, the warm-mountain atmosphere of a refuge and the friendly service make this farm a very nice place to eat and spend some time (even just for an afternoon break after skiing or trekking).
The food is good, I strongly suggest tris of taratare or cheeses (homemade) as starters and some homemade pasta as mains. Honestly the meat-based mains are not their best even if they are not bad at all. Please keep some room for the desert, the "non ti scordar di me" (white chocolate and mascarpone) is simply magnific.
The wine list could be (a lot) improved but don't forget we are in a holidays farm.
Very good quality/price ratio.

“Wonderful Spot up in the mountains”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Great to bring children. The food was wonderful and waitstaff personable and friendly. So nice to feel welcomed and taken care of for a night. Didn't feel rushed. There was a nice dog Kiko who entertained the children at the end of the night.
