We stayed there for 6nights. Stuff was really friendly and helpful. And the hotel was 5-6 min walking to centre. Near hotel there is a bus stop and you can take these buses to the lifts. Our room was really cute and nice. Although at the beginning we had a room which didn't have a balcony. Then we changed our room and the view of our room was really nice, mountain view and fresh air every morning was really nice. The room was really clean, everyday they are cleaning it and changing the towels. 3 nights we ate at hotel and the dinner was delicious. There is a menu and you are choosing the dinner you want and it costs 25 euro. There is a soup, starter, main dish and dessert. And a salad bar is coming to your table and you are choosing the salad you want to eat.
Breakfast was important to us and it was really good. You have a buffet and there was enough of salamis, cheese, different kind of marmelads and it was enough for us. I like the cakes and the desserts of the hotel.
Everything was really fine and it was the same as it was described in the booking.com. There was no wrong information about Hotel.
If i had a chance, i would stay again at Hotel Trieste. I highly recommend!!!!

P.S Wifi was important to me. And in the rooms, lobby, restaurant you can reach the internet. And the internet was ok!

Room tip: İf you want a balcony, not every room has a balcony. you should say it to the reception desk during your check-in!

Quick overnight in Cortina, views of mountains were superb. Hotel looks like it is almost exactly as it was in 1956 during the Winter Games; I liked it, but some amenities lacking - no shower, just a bath with a wand. That said, it was cheap, people were friendly, the bar was good, breakfast buffet was good and the staff friendly. We walked across town to a pizza restaurant but the hotel is not far from the centre of town.

Room tip: Rooms facing the road have a fanstastic view of the mountains.

We had a spacious room for three. The location is really good. Not even 5 minutes to the pedestrian shopping area. The breakfast buffet was great, staff nice and the hotel was very clean. The wifi was hit or miss and mostly miss in the room.

We were 16 mountain bikers who spent 4 days at the hotel and cycling in the surrounding mountains.

We were made to feel extremely welcome.

Every one was willing to go out of their way to help us. Just some examples:
- We were allowed to keep some rooms until lunch time on the last day so that we could get changed and showered before leaving
- The hotel staff reserved us a pizza restaurant for our Sunday lunch
- Lunch packets available every day
- Rebuilding the bar seating each night so that we could sit in a huge (and very loud) circle.
- Carrying our drinks to the furthest table in the corner of the large garden and then going all the way back for the drinkswe forgot to order the first time.

The WLAN was very good and we could all upload our photos to the Internet at once.

We could not have asked for a better hotel - friendly, well organised and comfy.

While we like to ski, we were here in July, so I can't talk about the skiing. :(
This is an older property but still very pleasant, clean and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony that offered a great view of the surrounding mountains. We ate breakfast here and it was very enjoyable. The property offers parking.

Room tip: Ask for a balcony room.
