My partner was born and grew up in Cortina and suggested we dine here for my birthday. Very pleased. I had a tomahawk steak which was superbly cooked, not easy to cook well such a large piece of meat but the chef achieved this. The accompanying chips were among the best I have ever had.
If it weren't for "tomahawk steak" then this place would be considered fine dining, but very reasonably priced, and very romantic sitting by the lake with the mountainous backdrop. Well done to the chef and his team.
I now visit Italy a lot, and have learned that the best places are off the beaten track. This one is well worth the visit.
