“Great central hotel with easy access to everything.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

The staff here are excellent, they speak reall good English and gave us great advice both about hikes and about where to eat. There's a bar that's open late that's very inexpensive and the breakfast has everything you need and hot food can be ordered for a nominal fee. The hotel is on the main street but the noise is shut out by the double sets of windows and the shutters. It is in a great central location with everything within a short walk. Our rooms were clean and comfortable with very large bathrooms.

No complaints really. Service at checking was excellent with a helpful guide who pointed out what to see and do in the town. Excellent restaurant recommendation. OK continental breakfast although the tinned meat and processes cheese was a joke!

This hotel has been run by the same family since 1938. The brother and sister who run the place speak excellent English and gave us great advice both about hikes and about food. Unlike many other places they're not out to extract every last euro from you; for example, at breakfast, if you want to order food beyond the standard breakfast, the price is 1 euro for one egg, 1 euro for two eggs, 1 euro for two eggs with ham, etc. You get the picture. There's a bar that's open late that's also very inexpensive. There's free internet, although it works better on the upper floors. We initially booked a triple and a double to make sure there would be two beds for our two teens; on their own initiative the owners proposed to move the kids to a room where there were two twin beds in separated alcoves saving us 28 euros a day, which was much appreciated. The hotel is on the main street but the noise is shut out by the double sets of windows and the shutters. If you want to take in the view of the mountains from your balcony and don't like traffic noise request a room on the top floor. Also some rooms have tiny bathrooms and others have the large bathrooms pictured on the website, so make sure to ask about this if you care about it.

The hotel in general is weak, rooms was comfortable but the bed wasn't at all. Rooms are noisy because of the main street. But the owners are so nice, so helpful you can forget everything about the negative things about the hotel. They really gave very goods advice and they were very nice to chat. Location also very good you can go by walk to the bus stop for faloria and tofana lift.

Great location. Clean. Extremely helpful and friendly front desk. Very nice ambience. I'm sure it's a great location for the ski season, whether you ski or just party - no snow in town as of Nov.17/11.

Piero Ghedina and his Mother were very Gracious hosts. They have a garage for your Motorcycle and a cold beer waitng for you. The rooms are big, comfy, and modern. Ask Piero for directions to a great restaurant you will not be disappointed. The decor is beautiful in the lobby and lounge/breakfast room. Breakfast was a typical Italian fare. I will be back.

Room Tip: room 47 has a great view
