“Well Worth a Visit”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

This museum is the major one to visit in Chiusi. It is open all day, so if you're visiting the Cathedral Museum and Porsenna's Labyrinth, go there first. This was the first museum in Italy that our grandchildren visited. I was surprised at how interested they were in the Etruscan artifacts. The museum is small enough to be seen in an hour or two, yet large enough to contain a variety of fascinating ancient objects.

With Chiusi as a home base, we visited Rome and Florence and all their major sites. GREAT trip. Very nice air conditioned rooms, friendly staff, wonderful food and wines.

“A hidden gem worth a visit”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

This museum is located in a small building whose façade looks like a Greek temple. It features a beautiful collection of Etruscan art including urns, burial artifacts and statues. I fully recommend the visit.
