The accommodation is clean and well maintained. Towels and bed linen are changed daily. We usually have a first floor room with air conditioning and a balcony. Ferrari is close to the centre of Chivari and walking distance from the Railway station. There is a vast choice of food at breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee.

Room tip: Accommodation is all on first floor up a short flight of stairs. The staff help with luggage and are always on hand to help and advise

Stayed here for 1 night on the way to Pisa along the coast.
Hotel seems to be family operated and actually gives you the Italian vibe.
Parking for check-in is around the corner - Italian style, later you will need to park further away on a public beach parking, OK location lots of dust and 5-10 min walk back.
Check-in was quick and easy. And YES there is no elevator you will need to carry your luggage. For the girls -> yes you will get a hand from the staff. Room was nice sized for 3 people only complain I would have -> the shower is very small, turning around is somewhat a challenge and I'm for sure on the small and short side. Room was facing the main street with a small balcony. With closed windows and the A/C running, noise was not an issue for a good night sleep.
Breakfast - well - as others already mentioned is more home style. Breakfast room operates as public Espresso Bar as well. The selection you will get is wide and typical Italian/Southern Europe. No complains at all.
For dinner we followed the advise of the hotel staff - very good and inexpensive.
And while going for dinner take some time to discover the town center and shops.
Very good selection on local ham and cheese.

Beach was not impressive at all, more gravel than sand and unless you enter from the parking lot you will need to pay a beach club of your choice.

Over all -> for a couple of nights a good choice

This hotel is right in the centre of town. We had a lovely room with free WiFi. Room was spotless and had everything we needed even a toothbrush and shaving kit. The people running the hotel are extremely accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was continental but consisted of everything you could possibly want...fresh fruit, cereals, fresh pastries etc just excellent all round. We will definitely stay again.

Room tip: Room 115 was fab.
