This restaurant is in an antique building off the main market square. The ceiling is supported by exposed brick arches, which makes the dinning area most atmospheric, only every one eats outside in summer, under the colonnade or in the traffic free street. The 12 euro fixed price menu is the thing to go for. The menu is on a blackboard outside. I chose a 1/4 of white wine, pasta with a fresh porchini mushroom sauce to start, followed by anchovies in a tomato sauce. But the highlight of the meal were some potatoes roasted in olive oil and sage, that were put on my table by mistake, and then the poor gentleman on the next table had to wait for a fresh portion to be prepared! So the service is acceptable but a bit hit and miss, in this case to my advantage! The food is always enjoyable & good value, but if the kitchen is under pressure, don't expect it to be on the table before you order it.
