This lovely modern apartment has its own garden with a terrace under olive trees. It really is a couple minutes down a shady path to the beach through citrus groves. And such a quiet beach with no development on it, though it is a bit pebbled in patches between the golden sand. There is some flotsam on the tide line. We were there end of April/ early May and we rarely saw more than a handful of people on a two mile stretch.
The flat was a bit sparse but adequately equipped.
We were about 7 km from Cefalu, which is a gorgeous historic holiday town, with many shops restaurants etc. A car is essential! There is a lovely fish/pizza restaurant fifteen minutes walk down the beach, it's romantic walking home in the moonlight!
One point, its tricky to find when arriving, so programme your sat nav to Cocuzzola. And there are mosi's at night but their bites were un-noticeable in the morning.
