Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. We got a great price for their classic suite. It accommodated our family of four well. My family enjoyed the breakfast. It was a 15 min walk to the beach, I didn't mind, but it wasn't the cleanest or safest looking path. Directions were kind of sketchy. Once out of the hotel, you have to make a right and go past the red and gray building. Once at the corner where the sidewalk ends, make a left down the road where you will continue to walk thru apartment building walking paths and past piazetta San Pio. There was a shuttle, but we didn't have a problem with walking. The hotel has room service, but there was no menu or anyone who was used to anyone ordering room service. You have to come down to the lobby to view the daily restaurant offerings. We didn't have dinner here so I can't comment. The pool was nice and the gardens made the hotel almost serene. There is a small play area for children next to the pool. If you are looking to be close to the beach or night life, then find another hotel. The age group here was 40+ while we were there. We were the only ones under 40 and with kids, but we had no issues. We stayed in a corner suite and aside from one of the balconies view being blocked by the palm trees, the other balcony had a pool and mountain view that was private and great for sunbathing. There was a jacuzzi and no shower but that wasn't a problem. Room was cleaned everyday. Loved the touch of complimentary macaroons in the room, water, and different teas. We stayed in room 315. The staff was friendly and English and German were also spoken. Would stay again if the price was right.More
