“Walk on the wild side”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Beyond a certain point it becomes dodgy to the extreme and you take your life in your hands. Taking the path to the right signposted "Castle" the path turns vertical and you are expected to literally walk up the mountain.

“ROCK HARD”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Don't be put off by the slog just to get there. Start early, take plenty of water and pace yourself if you don't usually climb very very steep hills . Steps make it easier and sight from Temple of Diana is well worth the effort. We didn't go to the Castle as we know our limits but walked round the side through lovely pines. Ended up past the lighthouse with a brilliant view across the marina.

“Climb up this hill the views are awesome”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We climbed up all the way to the crenulated remains of the castle above. There are two levels of sights to see. The first level you can view a temple and above you can view the remains of a fortification. The climb can be strenuous if you choose to directly from the temple to the top via a shortcut up a steep hill. You will have company up there - some sheep can be found on the side of the hill. The view at the top gives you a 360 degree view of Cefalu'. It really is pretty up top. It is definitely worth the climb. You can meander down the long way coming down and catch your breath.

“Great views! Its worth the trip!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

The climb is moderate, definitely bring water since most of the path is sunny. The views above are marvellous and there are plenty of things to discover.
