Myself, my husband and three boys recently had a two week holiday in the Madison. The location is wonderful close to the port and Gabicce Mare and only a short stroll to the hub of Cattolica. We were in the Residence which is ideal for family. One big bedroom and also sofa beds in living area and a big balcony from which we had a view of the sea. It was very clean and cleaners visited every couple of days. The shower was small but really good power. The boys loved the pool and especially the slide. We were pleasantly surprised to have treats at the pool regularly, doughnuts one day, wine another. There is a little gym which was handy though might be good to have a fan there. We didn’t have a pass for a beach but found one we liked and visited it for just €22 for all of us per day. The hotel has free use of bikes and children’s buggies which we found very useful. The staff were very friendly especially the vigilant lifeguard though there was one quite sleepy young guy working in the bar in the evening who might benefit from some friendly lessons. Parking is difficult nearby but there is a free car park and shuttle service 2km away. We only ate breakfast once in the hotel as we were self catering.
