If you are looking for a treat by three A(ngel)s, this is the place to be.... Antonietta, Annamaria and Angela are taking care of you in this agriturismo in Puglia such that you can only feel like at home in a couple of seconds. The food is delicious and vegetables and fruit straight from the (farmhouse) orchard or garden and is prepared in an excellent and creative but real Puglian style way by nonna Antonietta in the kitchen. You can combine this with excellent local wines over a variety of qualities but all fitting well with the cuisine. A quiet and relaxing place for sure and ideally located between the seaside and some stunning cultural places to visit (check Mottola, chiesa San Nicola) and Taranto with all teh region is offering.
thank you for the splendid days we were there

What a great way to spend time relaxing in such peaceful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle. Everything you could ask for Anna Maria is a great host the food is so tasty and the home made liqueurs we tried were delicious Lemoncello and Bay Leaf. Anything you needed was provided. All the fruit and vegetables are grown on the farm and everything else locally sourced and what a difference it makes to have such amazing flavours in every mouthful. No menu Anna Maria just keeps feeding you and it's very good value so well worth trusting her. They are very child friendly aswell. Enjoy if you do go.

Room tip: The upstairs double apartment has 2 terraces with views over the surrounding farm land. All exceptionally quiet

We were touring Southern Italy on our motorcycle when we chanced upon this gem and stayed for our last night before the ferry to Greece.
The accommodation was fantastic in every respect cosy, warm and spacious but the highlight was the evening meal which was sublime, undoubtedly the best meal of the holiday and the competition was fierce.
It was with regret that we departed the next day after a wonderful breakfast.

We stayed here for 3 nights, not really sure of what we would get. It turned out to be the highlight of our 2 week vacation in Italy. This is a real working farm, so if you are expecting a fancy resort, you should look elsewhere. What you get here is a true Italian experience, eating and living as they do. The accommodations were very clean, and there is a restaurant on site. The owners grow much of the produce they served us, as well as olives and apricots. It's an organic farm, and all their electricity is produced by solar.

Our family stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, though there were some other smaller rooms there too. The agriturismo is about 5K from the beach, though we only swam there once (there is a paid and free beach- very warm, calm water). We made day trips to the surrounding towns- Matera, Castelleneta, Locorotondo, etc...- all within about an hour drive.

The food was amazing, typical Pugliese cuisine. Of all our meals on the trip, these were the best. Endless antipasti followed by primi, contorni, and dolci- we were stuffed every night.

The owners were very friendly and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. I speak pretty rusty Italian, which was helpful as not a lot of English was spoken here. But honestly, even if I spoke no Italian (my wife and kids do not), I would have enjoyed the stay just as much.

You need a car around this area. I can't imagine trying to get here or travel around on public transit to the nearby towns. It's probably possible, but would take you forever.

We spent one night at Agriturismo Sant' Andrea - booked on spec. It was charming and comfortable. We had a HUGE room, which appeared newly decorated. We were the only guests, arrived quite late and were made very welcome. Anna Maria and family speak a little English and we have no Italian, but we managed with lots of smiles, gestures and nodding. Their teenage daughter was ushered in to interpret. The family were keen to explain a little about the area and are obviously proud of what they do. They were very sweet. We had a delicious and generous evening meal - enough food for four people (there were two of us) - LOTS of simple, delicious dishes, and nice local wine. We did not spend very long exploring the surroundings, but it was delightfully quiet and pretty.
