After visiting the Reggia in Caserta, we were looking for a place to have a quick lunch. We didn't have much expectations about the food: we just wanted something clean and edible.
We got hooked by a restaurant's employee on the street advising us to go to the La Nuova Perla and we decided to follow the advice, though we didn't have much expectations since usually these kind of places are just tourists' traps.
Well, we had the BEST possible lunch: fresh mozzarella perfectly spiced for a caprese salad, a very good risotto and the home-made "Scialatielli" (a typical pasta from Neaples' region) with sea food. Never tasted anything so good in a non-starred restaurant!
The waiters were also very nice and helpful and we started discussing way of cooking with the owner.
