We had a lovely stay at this B&B in Spring 2013. It had been recommended to us by an Italian friend and was very reasonably priced. It was within easy walking distance of the Royal Palace of Caserta and the town centre was a brisk twenty minute walk away. There were some delicatessens a few minutes walk from there where we could buy panini and other provisions for picnics. There was a bus stop just at the end of the road if we didn't feel like walking to the town centre. Our room was spotless and spacious with a comfortable bed. It had a high ceiling and a large wardrobe with plenty of storage and on top of which we could tidy away the suitcases as well as bedside tables and a chest of drawers. There was an air conditioning/heat unit and a TV with lots of Italian channels. Had the weather been nicer we would have made use of the balcony. Towels were included. There were two other guest bedrooms and a shared bathroom which was always scrupulously clean. The hotel owners, Giuseppe and Giusy, are very welcoming and hospitable and this is also their home. They provide a lots of leaflets and information about the local area which were placed in the lobby. I am not sure how much English they speak as I was practising my Italian with them, but I imagine that they would make a big effort to communicate with anyone who didn't speak Italian and that their warm nature would make the guest feel very welcome nonetheless. The breakfast was typically Italian - coffee brewed in a stove top coffee pot with milk to add as you wish and a choice of cornflakes, pastries, yogurt, muffins and melba toast with nutella, jam and butter. If you are not used to eating your cornflakes from a mug as Italian do you may wish to ask for a bowl as they do have them but are used to giving Italian guests mugs or cups for cereal.
All in all this was a great base to explore Caserta and its environs and from there to take the train into Naples for the day. We would definitely stay there again as our hosts were very warm and helpful and we were very comfortable.
