We booked last minute to stay at Laguna Village through Vacansoleil (who we would recommend highly to use) for 4 nights. We decided on a Luxury Navajo tent.
The campsite was about an hour and half from Venice airport and we hired a car for our trip as we were staying in another campsite in Slovenia too.
We checked in at just before 8pm and was fine. The reps for Vacansoleil were there and very hospitable, we were shown to our tent and allowed to park our car next to it, all tents have parking spaces next to them.
The Luxury Navajo tent is as it looks on photos, has everything you need for your stay they are arranged on little strips so you are facing other tents, the campsite had a clean toilet shower block for you to use and lots of available sinks for washing up. No soap or hand dryer in toilets.
The campsite has a shop on site which was reasonable in price and a restaurant which was fab. The price of a Magheritta pizza was €5.30 and the quality was very very good. You can order these as takeaway which we did most nights.
The pool area had multiple pools for different ages, our kids loved the water slide. You have to pay for sun loungers or just lay your towel on the ground, there is no grass area so you are laying on concrete.
We stayed in August and the weather was very hot. This meant that the inside of the tent during the day was unusable as it was like an oven, we had to pull a mattress outside to use for nap time.
Like other reviews the mosquitoes are in abundance here and we got bitten multiple times, spray didn’t even seem to work!
The beach is a 5mins walk and is great for kids as the water is really warm and shallow for a long way out.
For what we wanted this campsite was perfect.

We stayed here for just over a week over May half term. We had a great time but there were many good and bad points. Usually peak season starts after a particular Italian (and German) holiday, the time of which depends on Easter so was later this year than normal. This made the park much quieter than usual at the time we were there, something we liked. It is mostly Germans on this park, which means it's not as Italian or European as I'd have liked. I would prefer a site with a big mix of nationalities and languages.
With this being not peak season the park had a feel of not quite being ready yet for guests. We had some terrible weather for the first half of our holiday (non stop rain) which may have contributed to the delay. The beach wasn't cleared yet and looked a bit grubby.
There usually is siesta time, where cars can't be driven around the site and the water slides and pool music is switched off. The driving restriction wasn't enforced during the bad weather. The children's activities weren't run during the days when it was raining even though there were sheltered areas around the play park and kids (and parents!) would really have appreciated some activities.
The staff who ran the activities were super friendly and invited you to take park in the activities but weren't pushy. There was evening entertainment, including a mini disco and a cabaret show. The disco was good, the show awful. Several short sketches poorly acted and often based on national stereotypes. Not sending good messages to kids!
The on site restaurant was great, the supermarket was small and more pricey than the ones in town as you'd expect. The town was a short drive away, easy to cycle but a bit far for walking. There is a fantastic selection on restaurants, gelato shops and tourist tat shops. It is a beautiful town but very setup for tourists.
The Canvas reps were amazing and helps us sort out some games and activities for the cooler weather. Again their office didn't seem set up yet for the season, it was rarely manned and the contact phone number displayed didn't work but once we knew where to find them all was ok and they put in an amazing effort to help give us a good holiday. The cabin we had was lovely, beautifully clean and well stocked. The cabins are very close together, again this would be more of a problem in high season but we could hear the group behind us (reps?) chatting on their deck till midnight and you could see people moving around the bathroom of the cabin in front.
The biggest downside to this park was the mosquitos. The couldn't be avoided whatever the weather. I believed spraying ourselves reduced the bites but we all got a fair few. Our cabin had nets over the bedroom windows but not the other windows or doors, meaning you didn't want to leave them open and reduced the feeling you usually get on this type of holiday of the outdoors/indoors being one space.
While there were many things we liked about the park we won't be planning a return visit. With the poorer weather we spent a lot of time exploring the local area. While this is beautiful we feel we saw all there was that would interest us. Also the mosquitos and the lack of different nationalities on site are big negatives.

Check in was ok but long winded, staff helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately it ended there! First shower sprayed dirty grey water, all hooks behind doors broken. Wi-fi expensive on top of tariffs, town was misrepresented in the information given and the walk longer that suggested. Worst of all was the quality of the drinking water, rusty residue floating in it!!!! Certainly won’t be back.

My second home! Wouldn't and couldn't dream of a better holiday destination! Love every second of my 3 weeks here in the summer. The campsite pool and beach is perfect for the day and the town itself in the evenings. Venice isn't far either! Caorle, you rock!

- wifi much to expensive (week/20€), disconnects all the time
- loud in the evening/night -> annoying
- same program all day
- sunbed was stolen from our place -> reaction from receptionist “it’s the first time...”, they did nothing
+ clean Sanitary
+ large camping slots
+ good Service (restaurant, supermarket, ice cream)

= it’s okay for a few days but I won’t come back
