The hotel is great
Reception personnel is very professional and they attend you very efficiently
Do not miss the sauna facilities
The capuccinos at the cafeteria do not disappoint you
It is a pity that the wifi is so deficient in the rooms

Good enough is enough explanation for this place.

Receptionists are quite friendly.
Not everyone speaks good English.
Clean, quite variety of food for breakfast..
except they serve the exact same fruit dish comes in and out from a frige
until the dish is emptied for few days.

Otherwise, sauna is pretty nice. It has three saunas down stairs.

Room Tip: rooms on the north side must be quieter than the southes'.

You can't go wrong with this kind of family run hotel. I enjoyed my very large room with plenty of closet space. It was a bit noisy in the morning due to traffic, but the cute Christmas market made all up for that. Everything was clean and tidy, good bed and nice facilities, including a small spa. The bar was pleasant to sit and the restaurant served good food. Location is perfect, a few steps from the main shopping street. Also ski area close by (Kronplatz) with a decent wellness complex (Cron4).

Overall, we were very impressed by this hotel. We booked on a half-board basis expecting a fairly basic evening meal, but instead were treated to a fantastic 5 course dinner each night with a choice of 3 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts. Breakfast was likewise very good, though the hot food (bacon and scrambled egg) did not get replenished. Our room was excellent - very large, and with a large, well-appointed bathroom. The only shortcoming was the lack of air conditioning. Fortunately the weather was not too hot, but even so we had to sleep with the window wide open, and this caused some noise problems. The location is very good - central, less than 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. There appeared to be comprehensive spa facilities though we didn't sample these. Bruneck is a lovely town, and we would love to go back to this hotel. But probably not in the hottest months.

Room Tip: In the summer, you will need open windows. So take a room away from the street.
