Nice hotel, helpfull staff, small rooms, no balcony.
Some glasses in the room would be great, not only plastic...
Very comfortable hotel shuttle service.
High level restaurant, a little bit borring breakfasts but of high quality food.

This hotel was a great base for a skiing trip. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a decent en suite. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice on the buffet bar - even freshly boiled eggs if you timed it right! The fresh orange juice squeezer was a lot of effort for minimal result but if you persisted the juice was a good start to the day.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful both on reception and in the restaurant. The mini bus to the slopes ( just a 5 or 10 minute ride away) always seemed to appear just at the right time to take and fetch back.

The restaurant was surprisingly good for a hotel. We chose to eat in twice in the 4 days and were pleased both times. The pizza oven supplied freshly made pizza and the pasta and other dishes were also of good quality. The restaurant seemed to be a popular place with non residents too and was full of locals on Sunday morning for coffee.

I would recommend this hotel as a good ski base. It was also central in the town but there wasn't much to do in the town. In fact the hotel seemed to be the most popular place.

Room Tip: Maybe a room at the back would be quieter although the town isn't noisy anyway.

We stayed in Hotel Corso in March 2012 and loved absolutely all, and made up our minds to be back next season:
1) Monika is very kind and ready to help with all type of requests: book the train tickets, rent a car, print out the boarding passes and her smile brightened our day;
2) Our room was not too big but cosy with new bathroom, clean. In-room safe and TV is also there. Wifi signal was also quite enough, although near reception it was stronger!
Also there is a room storage for skis and boots. But you can also rent a cabin up in the ski station and leave it there.
3) We had an HB - breakfasts and dinners were fantastic! Enjoy prosecco on Sunday morning breakfast! And it was also very welcoming as Linda guided us through dinner menu and greeted with her smile every breakfast!
4) a shuttle bus every morning and in the afternoon took us to the ski station, One day was bad weather and we finished earlier, so we called and kindly asked to meet us earlier, it was accommodated by the hotel.
And yes Hotel is situated in the heart of Brunico, across the street there is a supermarket starting 8-30 am. On Sunday all the shops are closed. And we could not find the farmers market.
Brunico is very spring like now, you feel it in the air, so your Easter visit and stay with Hotel Corso would be a wonderful time!
So thank you to all hotel staff and owners for making our stay special!

Hotel is situated in the city center and also in the old town near the shopping area - this was perfect since the free time after skiing till dinner we spent shopping and walking in the old town.
I would like to recommend this hotel for families who enjoy quiet atmosphere, cozy rooms, perfect food. The food I would like to outline separately. The breakfast was a standard one you can expect in every bigger chain hotel - fresh fruits, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs. Local cheese and ham were the delicious ones and the fresh bread with tasty morning bakery is the thing to enjoy. Fresh oranges to squeeze the juice :-) But more than that was the dinner - the chef cook is really good one and creative. We had the dinner included in the price so for this we got: the offer of wide variety of starters, 3 choices for the 1st course, 3 choices for the 2nd course and 2 choices for deserts. Tell me who could resist the well prepared food? The wine offer for the dinner was also the good one. One evening we had a special dinner served in the cellar and it was very local choice - again too much good food eating :-).
When it comes to the staff - only the owners speak fluent English so you might have slight challenges if you want to order the food and you do not know neither Italian, nor German, nor Russian (service ladies do slightly understand Slavic languages).
Please be aware that you will hear every sound from neighbor room however the street noise is surely closed by two fold windows.
Almost every hotel in Brunico has the bus to drive you to the Kronplatz ski area and back - the Corso hotel has a reliable one as well :-)
Overall I was satisfied staying in this hotel and my family members did enjoy the stay too.

This hotel is perfect! I went on a ski weekend with my office, and since I didn't care to drive in the mountains and am not a big skier, this hotel location was perfect for me. The hotel is located less than 300 meters from the train station, a half block from the city bus stop, across the street from a supermarket, and a block from shopping! There are sights to see within walking distance of the hotel, (Castle Brunico, Messner Mountain Museum), or a short bus trip away, (Kron4 Spa). While my coworkers were enjoying the slopes I was able to enjoy shopping, the spa, and sightseeing and then in the evening we all met for dinner at the Hotel Corso!
The beds were super comfortable! The mountain air combined with the awesome bed made for the three of the best sleep I've had in ages!
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brunico!!!

We stayed at Hotel Corso for a weekend during Christmas market season. The room was clean and attractive, with a new bathroom. Our room overlooked the Christmas market, but the double windows kept any noise from getting in. All the interesting bits of the town are within easy walking distance (even the climb to the castle took no more than 20 minutes). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the underground parking garage, as it kept us from having to scrape snow and ice off our car.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience at Hotel Corso. My one complaint is the coffee at breakfast - it was undrinkable. When I visit Italy, I expect delicious espresso!

This is a very centrally located hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the free shuttle to and from the amazing Kronplatz ski slopes was a plus. The rooms are very small, but are clean and comfortable. We got very good sleep under the cozy down comforters. The bathroom is newly redone and the shower was excellent (great water pressure). There is a sauna and steam room upstairs with a nice view of the town. The hot tub was not working well so it was only lukewarm at best. But there are large spas to go to in town if that's what you are really looking for. It was nice to have essentially a private sauna/steam room after a day on the slopes. The included breakfast was good, though they did not replenish food/drink once it was gone. This was a very comfortable place to stay in a cute Northern Italian town!
