September is obviously between seasons here. Easy to find, but limited free parking (subsequently found more parking across the road). Check in was efficient, not overly friendly or welcoming.

Our room was large, but reminded me of the early 1970s by the decor and fittings. The bathroom was the same and in need of some proper cleaning - mould in the shower, dirty tile grouting and stains on the toilet seat!

The barman was under training and struggled to organise the most simple of drinks orders. And the restaurant was closed. But the receptionist did recommend a good restaurant in the town and breakfast was a vast buffet in the morning.

Overall, it is well past its sell by date and in need of modernisation. If you get a good price, as we did, it is acceptable, but not at anything approaching the displayed rack rate

The room was large clean. The room had a good size balcony. With a great view of the mountains. You had your choice of getting together with others inside or out on the patio. I do not remember the mans name who greeted us and looked after the bar but he was wonderful at making you feel welcome and looking after you drinks.

I have been to Miramonti a couple times before, and I really like the feel of the hotel. The rooms are not the most awesome, they are a bit simple, the beds are hard and not much in ways of comfortable chairs etc, but I still like the hotel and it's location a lot. If you get a room with rooms towards the mountains, very little can compare to the morning-view when the sun hits the mountain-tops.

Room tip: Great views, good location
