I stayed here with a friend for few days as part of a cycling trip. I can only say good things about my experience. The facilities are in an excellent condition, our room was big and very comfortable, the bike room is amazing, but the best thing was the friendliness and professionalism of the owners and staff. It just cannot get better. It really felt like being at home

We stayed for almost a week in June 2013. As experienced cyclist we have seen many hotels, but we where very amazed by the service and hospitality of San Lorenzo. They have a fantastic (very secure!) cycling park in the basement with cleaning and repair facilities. Nearby locked carpark was included in the price. The food in the restaurant was extremely well prepared and everybody was very helpfull. The well situated (sunny!) terrasse in front of the hotel, is fantastic for enjoying a cold drink after the challenges on two wheels in the nearby mountains...
We will be back this year again. Ci vediamo!

This was a lovely hotel, and the proprietors and staff could not have been better or more friendly, or efficient. and did I mention the food? We had our meals included and the chef was magnifico! Each day a full buffet plus anything you want from the kitchen,. dinners were always 7 course and many different selections each night. the pastries were terrific! coffee strong and tasty. All in all an absolutely delightful experience! and very good value.

good view from room balcony, good location in town within walking distance of the slopes and buses.

If there was anything negative, the room was a little small, but I was there only to sleep.

Everything about this hotel was good. The rooms are excellent, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage (often missing in hotels in ski resorts when you inevitably have a lot of stuff with you) and the bathrooms the best we have seen in a long time. The staff were all friendly and efficient, the breakfasts were great with a wide choice of cooked meals as well as a varied buffet. There is a large comfortable lounge. The ski-room had very efficient boot-warmers. It is situated in the middle of town, but there was no noise problem. The ski-bus stops outside.

This was a fantastic choice for our stay in Bormio. The service provided by all the staff in this charming residence was superb, the hotel was very clean and the breakfasts were brilliant. The decor and ambience made this more than just a room for the night.
Bormio seemed stuck in an eighties musical time warp and the hotel was not alone with a stereo from the seventies.Good conditions on the slopes and a great recommendation of using OKGO for our equipment hire made this a very pleasant stay.

The service and facilities from the minute we walked in the front door was excellent. The hotel was beautifully decorated and oozed a lovely ambience in all areas. Our room was on the second floor and the bathroom had a bath which was wonderful to soak in after a day out in the cold . The room itself was spacious complete with desk and wifi. My husband went skiing and it is close to the town so I enjoyed walking through the streets each morning. Everything is in walking distance if the town but the noise aspect is quiet. Breakfast was superb and a long list if culinary delights were offered each morning of our stay . Underground parking was included in the price ... . Each night we would return and find our shutters closed and the bed turned down ... Definitly worth more than three stars . I would recommend this hotel highly to travellers who wish a break , or for guests to ski and/ or peruse the shops . The snow falling at night added a magical effect to our stay

We have just returned from a week staying at the beautiful San Lorenzo hotel in Bormio. We enjoyed a perfect week of relaxation, delicious food and wonderful Italian hospitality. The seven course Christmas dinner was spectacular, but actually all the breakfasts and dinners at San Lorenzo were excellent. We were fortunate with the weather as we enjoyed a white Christmas evening with lots of snow and then sunshine, so it there were perfect skiing conditions. Really, I don't know how they could improve San Lorenzo as for us it was just perfect. Thank you to Samantha, Marcella and the wonderful waitresses and housemaids for their outstanding service. Why would anyone stay anywhere else in Bormio?
