This is a real gem: very stylish, providing the very best service, all with a smile on the faces of their multi lingual staff. The decor is Italian chic, with soothing and cheerful colours. The food in the restaurant is Michelin star standard, served by very efficient waiters, with style and friendliness that makes every meal a memorable experience. If you are there on a Thursday go to the buffet dinner with live music on the roof - not cheap, but if you value good food and wine, it is worth every penny. The rooms are equally stylish, cleaned to perfection daily by excellent staff. One of the reviewers wrote that the rooms are a little small but we had - for not much more - a wonderful room with a big balcony with views of the lake and the garden, so spend time looking for what you want. Finally, Bardolino is a lovely little town, Verona is a bus ride away and you can visit by boat or bus the many other pretty towns on the lake.

Room Tip: There are several types of room so look at what you need and be prepared to pay a little more for high quality.

This was our first trip to Lake Garda and we were not disappointed to choose Bardolino, a lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and shops. The Color Hotel came highly recommended and the service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, but they are costly for what they provide. We chose the Armonia suite as a treat to ourselves, expecting a separate living room, but this did not work for us as a couple. This added space holds two big seats which obviously convert to beds to accommodate larger parties. There was a television here, but no other attraction (such as a balcony) and as the bedroom had a large TV with balcony we did not use the other room at all after paying a lot of extra money. We would recommend requesting a pool facing room which would be much quieter than our lake facing room which had the main road running right in front of it and so we did not use the balcony as much as we would have liked. The hotel bars, grounds and pools are well laid out with plenty of space for everyone to relax.

The breakfast here is extensive and never failed to deliver something for everyone, however, they just couldn't grasp the concept of giving tea drinkers at breakfast a jug of milk and so we often had to resort to milk in an egg cup! We only sampled the evening a la carte menu once which we found to be expensive and not as good as the local cuisine in the many restaurants a short stroll away in Bardolino. The hotel is located very centrally and offers a warm welcome to it's guests and so I would recommend it as a great place to stay although quite expensive.

Room Tip: Pool side quiet, lake view has a road running right outside.

A lovely hotel with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Three different pool areas and a variety of chilling out areas that combine to make you feel totally at home. The rooms are a little small and you may think of upgrading to get more space but the bed linen and fixtures and fittings are high end. The absolute best thing about this hotel were the staff.....each and every one was outstanding. Receptionist Marie Rose couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable and Franco and his restaurant team were truly Amazing.
All in all a fabulous hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to all

The hotel is fairly new, well furnished and has a friendly staff. The rooms are clean, service is good, prices are reasonable. Breakfast is rich in variety. I have checked a few hotels in the vicinity. This hotel is definitely the best. I would recommend it.

A very friendly hotel with excellent service and a sense of different style. The variety of the outside areas and pools was excellent.
A very minor point for the hotel staff: there was no mirror at the dressing table which made doing makeup etc difficult.
