“One of the best restaurant in Bardolino”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2011

I eat many times during the year in this restaurant and I can assure you that everytime we are satisfied by quality of the food, by the service and by the bill!
The owner is a nice man and her wife is in the kitchen. They offer typical Italian food, but they personalize them and they serve with a very good presentation.
I love to eat here in the summer, because the restaurant is located in a little and not crowded street... so also during the peak season, you have the possibility to eat in total tranquillity.
I really suggest it and if you can, book a table so you'll be sure to have a good place!

“Best Restaurant all week”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2011

We chose to visit La Piccola Osteria on our last evening. Ww wished we had eaten there earlier in the week as it was the best meal we had. Nice and quiet down a side street and pleasant service together with a nice bottle of red and lovely steak and pasta. All the food we had was excellent and would recommend.
Ristorante Biri was also good as was Osteria Due Nani and of course Gelateria Cristallo.

“Will drive 500 miles to eat here again.”

It's our fourth time here since 2007. Owner always recognizes us. As it says on the front page of their menu "...succulent cuisine of chef Ornella...."

“Away from the hustle and bustle”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2010

You might not find La Piccolo Osteria is you stick to the main streets in Bardolino as Via Palestro is a quiet residential street but it's just a step away from Giacomo Matteotti where the crowds are. But it's worth the step, because La Piccolo Osteria is one of the best in Bardolino with authentic home-made pasta and a nice relaxed feel. It's small but we were under no pressure to move on after our two-course meal. A highlight was that I think this is the only restaurant to offer Prosecco as the house white wine - lovely after a day in the sun and heat of Lake Garda in August! Look it out, if it's not full then that's a bonus as you won't have to wait for a table like on the busy streets!
